I loved the posted in her room "ARE YOU WOMAN ENOUGH FOR THE SOCCER TEAM?" or something similar. Ha.
Did she die from cutting? The last bit was super confusing cos it kept cutting to different moments (no pun intended). This reminds me of that Cyberbully film a bit, if anyone else has seen it?
Also reminds me of Noughts and Crosses, but using sexuality instead of race. Things like this really make me wonder about what it would be like if everyone was different..

I don't think it was actually meant to make you sad. Because we didn't actually see her die, I think the video's purpose was to make you think think think. If the purpose had been to make you sad, they would have focused on her actually dying because we watched her "suffer" rather than die. Hard to explain.

oh yeah, I get that's the main point haha, it does make you think, like how it is the other way round, but just how it kind of tugged on the heartstrings that she ended up doing that yano

only thing that annoys me is that she looked about 12. I suppose you feel sorry for them the younger they are though

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying I think it's a little unlikely that you're going to be trying to find yourself a relationship at 12.

I think people think they know, but can't be sure. They've lived for 12 years. They are probably only just starting to go through puberty, they should not be deadly sure after 12 years of life.

She probs isn't 12 but anyway you can know at 12, it's not far from 13/14... and if you also say that's not enough to know then I HATE YOU! Well I don't but LOL.. but she could know from a early age :)

how could that possibly annoy you, she's a person DOES IT MATTER HER AGE

wtf that's not the point, the point is she has feelings (which u start to develop around that age) that she's been told is wrong and people are own age are judging her for it

Er and same for straight people, may not realise they're bi or gay until after the age of 12 but is that really the point... no...
also i think this video is much more effective than if it was another one of those homophobia videos, tis a good twist

I agree that it's effective, I'm just saying I think they're using her age to make us sympathetic rather than to make the clip realistic. Not saying it's bad to decide your sexuality at 12, just think it's unlikely.
Coming across negative when I don't mean to. Can't work out how to make it positive.

Nothing in the whole video aimed towards her actual age... only young teenager because of schooling. :)

Also I don't understand why that 16/17 year old boy hit her. I cannot see any situation in real life where that would happen :S

Well the world there is the other way around but it happens anyways... People get beat up like trans get beat up by fully grown men even though they are female... I don't believe in violence but when it does happen I think gender doesn't matter as long as it's for good reason, like if a female attacked a male with a knife, the male could attack the female back or die? Anyways yeaa!
was tearing up all through the video. seems like it's got a good reception and it was effective and pretty good, v. sad though.

It appears to be going viral over several social networks, it's a good video, it reminds me a bit of this:
