Thanks to HxGG (whoever he/she may be :P!) for telling me, can't see any posts about it yet but yeah, it's trashed :(.

Splendid. Why would anybody have rights apart from managers?

All people at HxHD have rights except trialists. All managers of all departments have rights as well (I believe?). I should think (A)GMs have rights too. That should be it?

They did a pretty good job of trashing! Must have been in there alone a good long time..

It probably wouldn't be a BST person as they would either be at school/college or asleep (depending on what time the trashing actually took place).

I think the opposite lol, clearly the person was in a hurry and not much has been trashed, this can easily be fixed back to the original design

Why do so many people have rights? What is the need, seriously?

Yeah, they left some areas almost completely untouched (like the pond) and the Hobbit House was pretty good to go as well.

However it would take 5/10 minutes to move that amount of furni around. Especially as some furni has clearly been moved to certain places for an effect of some sort (such as the bunnies all lined up on the desk).

I've PM'ed Matt, Rosy and Kirst but Kirst + Matt will be busy and Rosy will probably still be asleep :'(

Also, it won't be SackRace. His rights were removed about a week ago.

Managers of departments don't have rights either apart from Help Desk Management, so that's a few ruled out.

Couldn't pick a worst layout to trash!! Fixed it up as best we could but a lot of it was stacked and will need @Kyle (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=30795); or Comity;
And all staff have rights so they can moderate the room. Me and Rosy can't be there 24/7 to deal with spammers etc.

as whoever said, this seems to happen the same time every year, it happened last april/may aswell. Bit annoying tbh, even though I didnt build it people spent a good amount of time doing so.. 8-)

That's the society we live in.
Even on a Minecraft server, you have to have protection plugins to stop people destroying your creations. What kind of a society do we live in?!

I'm sure anyone could work that out lol.
My nan told me about the days when church doors would be left open 24/7 without being watched or anything.
Now? They'd get trashed :(

Let's not get too melodramatic, it's not the end of the world or society as we know it. It is a shame that someone has abused the trust we give our staff but staff having rights is important for moderation and avoids them having to rely on a very small number of people. As it's once in a blue moon and the vast majority do not abuse their rights unless they're "accidently" kicking me Empired;, there's no need for some knee-jerk reaction.

WOAH. Your name looks like IcedDuckwhatever :'( There was no "accidentally" about it. It was an accident!!!! You can only get away with this kind of stuff cos your girlfriend's HxHD Manager ;l she would be whoopin' yo' ass otherwise (prob doing that already)

We think one of the HxHD staff's accounts was probably compromised..

If this is what has just happened now

I got banned for it then. Because i am banned from the room.

BUT i haven't had rights in that room since February so i didn't trash

I'd of thought the Habbox Help Desk staff were a bit more mature than that.. shame staff can't even be trusted with rights now.

Gonna be a tough one to redesign, but surely it's needing a new design (as Easter's over?)..

No, I said we think this. It's possible that we do actually have a member of staff too immature to be able to cope with the responsibility of rights.. It's more likely to be a hack though.

Matt
29-04-2013, 01:45 PM
If staff who had previously left HxHD still had rights then I think this time there is an obvious solution. Also the staff numbers aren't exactly high therefore It should be easy to find who did it if they are still staff. No doubt there are detectives already on the case though ;) Shame it happened but as Kirst mentioned, Rosy & herself can't be there all of the time and if all rights are removed as a punishment then it makes the job of Helpdesk staff completely pointless. Nevertheless, happens at least once a year and always is forgotten about rather quickly.

29-04-2013, 01:45 PM
Why do so many people need rights anyway? What happened to the old days of entering the staff area via teleporter from a locked room?

Old staff doesn't have rights, unless they have just quit and their rights are being taken, and true, even thought I think it's more than once a year, mainly with new trialists, at least it wasn't right after a new layout was done. xD

It's easily missed, sometimes you forget to take somebody's rights after they resign (from my experience)..

Could be anybody, very tough to identify a trasher. :P

Well, this is messed up, anything else appart from room trashing happened today/yd?

My rights were rescinded like one or two weeks ago and it never quite crossed my mind trashing the room (even tho I joked about it saying it out loud in the desk haha).

I hope the trasher gets identified.

Anyways whoever did will be disrespectfully discharged from staff. A further punishment like as a ban from the forums would be outrageous though. It is just sad that we think we can trust someone with rights to move furniture in a pixel game, then they turn against you and destroy your creation. Simply we will just rebuild the room, No harm done to Habbox other than just messing up a room. Whoever did it got the attention they wanted, but this isn't the right attention for them.

Sorry :'( Did as best as I could in the pond but I didn't watch it get stacked in the first place and I had no idea how you'd done it. Kirst and I agreed it would be better to attempt to untrash rather than just leave it for 6ish hours for Matt/you/Graham to come online to tell us how to fix it properly.

red did the house. and what the **** did you do with the wired the first time, we couldnt work out how to put it all under the house for ages
