Hayley Williams that is a hideous colour of lipstick ;l

Not a huge fan of this song, but there were just a few seconds that kept popping up that I really liked, but they were gone before I could properly appreciate them :'( That was a bad explanation, but the best one I could come up with..
:Cerys; still not a patch on Playing God though ;) x

Ayee definitely;)

Don't like any of Paramores new songs. She is going mainstream. it makes me unhappy</3

i've never understood why people say stuff like this.. surely you should be happy for their success?

but theyre selling out on their fans, if you see what I mean?
So theyre leaving their old music and fans who have always been there for them for rubbisher music but a larger fan base (as more people enjoy that type of music) meaning more money.

Idk if that made sense but yeah

and where are you getting all that from? i don't really know anything about the band but i'm pretty sure that isn't the case
it's hardly any different from their older music afaik and if it is, a change of genre is hardly 'selling out' their fans lol loads of artists do it

yeah but take avril lavigne for example. she used to make half decent music, but then she ditched her fans and went to the pop rubbish. a very small percentage of her fans were happy about the change

(this is all imo btw)

you do realise that when a band/artist evolves they don't intend to ditch or leave their old fans behind?
i honestly think that a change of genre or music style is a good thing when working on new material.. variety is good

Yeah, but imagine if Adele suddenly decided to do screamo/death metal, dye her hair black, get tonnes of peircings etc. I highly doubt that you'd still listen to her. And don't say you would because I won't believe you as it's ridiculous ahaa

i'm all for the progression from their meat and potato rock, same with fall out boy actually. i'm sure they could have recreated albums like awkif and riot! quite easily, but it's good to see them experimenting with pop and alternative elements, though still into you isn't one of my favourites, i'm loving future, (one of those) crazy girls and ain't it fun at the moment.

think you've took it a step too far lmao. i've just had a look at some of paramore's older music videos and there's not that much of a difference, she hasn't changed her appearance at all really so idk why you've said that about queen adole. if anything's changed they've just made the song a little more 'pop' which shouldn't really change anyone's opinions about the band completely considering they're somewhat a pop-punk band

comparing paramore's new music and their old new music to adele going from pop/depressing boring ballads or wteva she makes now (soz jurv) to screamo is a bit ridic
paramore have always done tht pop rock thing its just now a bit more on the pop side than rock but still fairly similar and it's not lyk they have changed their image the music is just a bit more pop influenced
still into u is 1 of my faves anywai

I was just giving a hypothetical situation *cannotspell* But yeah, this is my opinion and I intend on keeping my view that they've gone mainstream and her fringe is strangely short .-.

If you get offered a promotion at your workplace that will give you a lot more money but means you need to leave some of your colleague friends behind, would you do it? Most people would 'cause the point of a job is to make as much money as you can so you can spend it on enjoying your real life. This is exactly what Paramore has done lol :P

hate the direction they have gone. the song is well below par.

I really do like this song, I feel like it shows what Hayley William's voice is capable of doing.

I actually really like the song I personally think the music video could have been a bit better.

Selling out lol...

So what they also need to make money, and in times like these they need to change abit.

Get over it, you aint a real fan if you dont change with them imo.

Watching this is like a completely different band to what I knew before, but it makes sense, pop/rock has been dying down the last few years. Plus the line-up in Paramore has only changed about 7 times or something ridiculous, so it doesn't surprise me that they're going down a different direction. It's not a bad song actually :)

But it's not very nice online(!)

Your sentences don't make grammatical sense when you stick that on the end of your sentences ketchup.

I don't think they're going mainstream.. they're evolving their sound into something fresh to represent their new era of Paramore without the farros. They're showing that they can go outside the box and it can work (the newest album is their most critically acclaimed).

She is going mainstream.
she is??? they are ;)

i'm in love with their new album and i'm in love with the direction that they're heading, if they decide to go mainstream i'll be happy for their success. this is probably (one of) my favourite songs on their new album aside from (one of those) crazy girls, ain't it fun and anklebiters.

never really been a fan of paramore since their first album, but i must admit i quite like this song! it's nice and bippity boppity!

hayley williams has seriously injured her fringe though...

Jurv

I don't know why we're debating Paramore only recently selling out when their previous album was a loud of **** and Misery Business only had a few good songs on. I do quite like this song, very catchy but after the brothers leaving and saying all that **** about the band being a platform for Hayley, I don't really know what to think about them any more.
