I can only agree - not a huge follower of out-of-england football, didn't really know of Falcao's excellent records prior to joining Manchester United. Jose is bound to get him to where he wants him.

Rumours of both Cech and Benzema going to Arsenal... would certainly be a different tactic for the gooners to actually sign footballers that they need, and could make for an interesting season. I really do think that if they play their cards right they could be challenging for so much more this next season, gonna be a really interesting one

Lots of noise around Song coming back to England permanently as well, basically because he's not 100% awful and will count towards the homegrown ratio thingy but who really needs him? Chelsea and City are reportedly favourites for him but both have plenty of options that would make that transfer pointless even at 5m surely

As brilliant as Courtois is, Cech is clearly still among the greatest keepers in the world so yeah best of luck to him (apparently we're giving him a £4m sendoff payment) and as a fan who likes to see interesting games rather than just wanting all the greatest players on one team I reckon it's gonna be a really good deal for the next couple of years in the prem. It's odd how sometimes there's a flurry of one type of player coming through - we've had years where a DMF has been key to every team, years where wingers have made all of the difference and all that, but now with the shuffles going on atm with Cech de Gea Begovic etc I reckon it's keepers that will make all the difference through the whole league in a way that we've never really seen before
