So everybody knows that the event team try and make original events (Which you'll be seeing more of in the coming weeks). But what I want to know is what events do you want to see more of or alterations of. I'm more than happy to create games for you guys (as is every other events organiser) but quite frankly I'm getting bored of Pod Racing and Trivia games.

So what I want to know and what I want feedback on is what events the community wants to see, whether it be an alteration on a current game or an entirely new game (For example if you have a board game you particularly like we'll see if we can make a habbo version).

Keep Pod Racing. :/ New games might get some people interested in finding out what they are, but it will also keep a lot of people from going, since they have never seen the game before.

There are many events in the events list that Mathew did that aren't being used. I remember trying to build a room for those and some were quite popular. You have nice events written there, they are actually enough since EO's don't host them a lot.

I know I want to see less of the managers hosting bingo and falling furni repeatly. It's just the lazy persons game when looking for something to host.

More games like draggaa wires thing with the prezzies!!

I love pod racing :(! But I think more games involving wired and games more simple than don't roll a 6.. which has to be one of the most boring games imo :P.

There should be an official Habbox Modelz, hothots was well popular back in the day.

not sure if it's still the same as i've not really been on habbo enough to check but i think there definitely needs to be a decrease of games like bingo & fallin' furni. i think one of the key aspects of keeping people interested in the events is to keep them unique, which is what weekly events helped with in the past (not sure if there are any atm?) but yeah it would be really nice to see a few more of those popping up. even if it's just a twist on a game that's already being played on habz at the moment it would be fab as it shows the events organisers being creative and whatnot (i don't mind people using one of the events i came up wither either if they want)

I try to look at the list as often as I can to see what I can host that isn't hosted very often, you'll be seeing a lot more from that list very soon!

I agree, I love Gladiator but theres only so much that can be done with wired. If you have a suggestion I'd be glad to try and create it for you! Just drop me a PM

I think some older events need to kept, but in games like trivia races and in general when there's a People's choice one, a lot of the time it's the same people answering every time so the same category. New games would be interesting to play, and I can't remember who hosted this but there was a mocha race where all the mocha things were wired so you had to chase them and that was pretty fun to play too.

I agree Phil MyOffDays; did a fantastic job when putting a spin on that game! Perhaps we can make more like it!

We currently have two weekly events (Shoned and myself and Rosie and Jan currently host them) and we have two more in the pipeline. Me and Smurfed-; are also working on bring back a few of the weeklys from back when I just passed my trial so hopefully you'll see them soon

I don't go to Habbox events anymore, mainly because of the attitude of some of the department (I have to say this, sorry if its just me who see's this but a few members of the events department have the maturity of primary school children) You can make amazing rooms, and unique events but its explaining it afterwards. I go into some of your events and have no idea what the hell they are, only person I really see who does good unique events and can be arsed to explain them to Non-Habbox members is probably Dragga;
Trivia is brilliant, don't get rid of that.. Inkwell; will be fuming.

Things like:
- Higher and Lower
- Sims is a good game
- Team Bingo
- Grab a seat
- Pacman 650c; did it, it was great)
- Look at any of 650c; past events, they were decent

An issue I had during the Easter period was particularly with Trivia and something which I've said a few times but doesn't really go through. Several people in single games ask "what does ____ mean", and even if they get an answer, they don't know how to play! There either needs to be stickies on how different rounds such as generating a word work or the decency to offer explanations on how to play these games. It seems to be a game where it's the same winners every time they turn up (sometimes myself included) so I can't say I'm too fond of it.

Really do agree with you, I also see people who still have favourites and it just annoys me.

What I feel the problem is, staff do unique events then everyone else starts doing the same unique event, I saw an increase in pay day not long back as well as trivia races; when I was in the department it was rarely done and usually that was by me.

I tried hosting unique ones yet no one came, I do however, get people asking me to host Simon says, but that unique event can be done easily by anyone, I would love to be the player instead of the host for once :P.

What I truly do find as an issue is the fact that events hosts would much rather make time for their own friends rather than the members, surely they should focus on talking to other people and making them feel welcome?

I started to do dodgeball and dice battles and things like that which I know none of the EOs tend to do so that's a nice little change but I genuinely do think that a lot of the EOs can't be bothered so will book things like Don't Roll a 6 or bingo or whatever as they are easy to host without much interaction. Which lets be honest, Habbox needs to improve on desperately.

Yeah I've previously asked how a certain game (e.g. Stop the bus) is played and have just been ignored by the host, and this has happened on more than one occasion. I haven't been in to any Habbox events since Easter.

Yess stickies and explanations is a must. If someone wants to host a game but can't be bothered to explain how it works, then they clearly shouldn't be in a community role.

Really do agree with you, I also see people who still have favourites and it just annoys me.

Ooo I haven't played pay day for agessss, I used to love that game :D! Not many people seem to host it anymore so that could be a good one to host :).

Oh yes there does need to be more explanation for the sayings in trivia. I am clueless to some parts of trivia, but if none of the other players are willing to explain what a certain term means and the host doesn't either... they're probably going to leave. I know a fair few now but still stuff I see in trivia just amazes me as to what on Earth it is.

650c; If you're okay with it I'd like to recreate pacman as it evidently was quite popular so if you're okay with that a PM with how to play and what it sort of looked like would be amazing! (Although I think I may already have an idea of how to do it so it's just having consent from you to allow me to do it i.e. I dont want to steal your event.)

I've messaged @Smurfed- about the Trivia stickies and am awaiting a reply from him so hopefully we can implement that (make it a rule for trivia games).

I am continuously trying to invent new events but any ideas from people of things that they'd like to see would be much better than me just making something because then I can get that persons input, and interact with the community a bit more.

I thank you all for your continuing feedback and have read it all. We are trying to make sure that the community is enjoying what we're doing so your feedback is greatly appreciated.

You really shouldn't be copying my concept of the game with all this new WIRED, the blobs and wired would make a great new concept. I'd strongly advise creating your own with the new stuff (blobs) rather than adopting mine.

the need for stickies in trivia rooms is like a bit ridiculous really, what should be done is for the topics to be explained when someone asks for them to be really as a rule. The number of trivia topics there are it would need quite a lot of stickies really to explain all of the common ones, and not everyone has stickies/can stick in their room eg. my events room where there are no walls anywhere near the game area. my opinion anyway

Ohh yeah, I didn't mean stickies for every trivia game, but just for the event in general. But yeah, hosts really need to ensure they're not ignoring someone who asks a question just because they can't be bothered to explain it, because it is unfair and gives others an unnecessary advantage.

yea when that starts to happen there is seriously the question why are they events staff coming into my head really. Been to so many events in the past where people have been asking how to play and host doesn't answer so you have to explain yourself otherwise they'll never get an answer, at least it's getting better atm though.

races are fun. please don't forget races. i don't really mean team races etc with multiple rooms as i know that's a pain when people brb in rooms or something, but more like a big room filled with a course. i mean that means you can wire it up (if you want to, depends how laggy you are) and they're quite fun and can take quite a few players.

i also really liked gladiator. i'm not sure who made it but it was basically stack attack. i remember it having 6 people per game and it was actually really good fun and i'm sure most people enjoyed it.

KEEP FF, i don't mean always host it but ff is nice (and i'm good at it :() so i wouldn't scrap that completely. the alternative is jump the fence but i'm sure that's more lazy than ff itself lol.

wired games are fun but they can also be a bit of a pain constantly as usually the rules are a little harder for people to understand and also more lagg (from my own experience) but it'd be really cool to see some new games. i don't really go on habbo anymore, so i don't see what's happening with events, but with the new wired around it'd be cool to take advantage of it and make some great games. sorry if people already have but i really don't know.

I'm going to chip in and say that skill based events are much more enjoyable than luck based games. Things such as bingo, don't get a X, don't roll a Y, and even telephrase (because of how often it bugs when you say the correct answer) are just not fun. You might as well just tell everyone to sit for 15 minutes and pick a name out of a hat.

Tbh h/l is the only decent luck game lmfao, at least you get some say in it cause you can go lower on 3 if you think it will after all etc.

skill games are defo much better though, doesn't even have to be trivia either but that's what people just seem to jump to for that instead of wired games or other interesting stuff, though at least add it up is also done a lot more recently

Why not set targets to event organisers to create x amount of skill games.

I vote for a poll asking for users to say which games they prefer...

Exactly. Most habbo players really don't care which fansite hosts the event when they go in to play.

But a good event may encourage them to look out for more events by that fansite.
