When Paul LaFontaine informed players that Habbo would be opening their game to other developers to advertise and allow us to play said games not many had a positive opinion on the matter; taking a game that has always been about the community and pushing it to other companies just to gain some income someway. Well, today, it was revealed that a new game should be coming eventually, and it will appear like Nova Raider and World of Zombies do currently - a game whereby you can play it on Habbo, but also it's externally available.
A recent email from 'seepiagames' showed that this new game would definitely be coming and it included:
'Thank you for your interest.
Yes. It is real. We are developing Pet themed game and we plan to launch alpha version soon in one or two Habbo hotels.
When the game is ready we plan to launch it in all Habbo hotels.'
Not a long email, but an informative one to say the least - I don't think we need more games though as we have a lot already.
A fun fact about seepia games is that they have Tetra Blok on their site, a game they created and placed on Habbo, which they hope to expand during the summer this year.
Pet Shows has a description which makes me think that it will appear similar to the pets we already can own on Habbo at the moment.
'Pet Shows makes you the coach for a family of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies etc.) Train your puppies well and compete against other players' pets
in various events and competitions to win prizes.'
I like the fact that you can compete against others, maybe prizes will be available, but only time will tell!
