Just curious lol. Mine was working with an events company, think I did that from 16-18. Really enjoyed it was a waiter and I just remember it being so much fun, especially when I got to finally work on the bar!! Worked at NEXT within that time too and I guess that was my first 'real' job as the other was just casual work.

I always used to want a paper round but my mum would never allow it... Apparently when she was younger a girl from her area had one and went missing never to be seen again. NOT SURE HOW TRUE THAT IS BUT YEAH

i used to go with my friend and cause the towns so small she was the only one who did it and got to know the people she was going to. this lady would give us gloves in winter and sweets and money. thinking bout it some people would let us into the house and we didnt think twice about it so im not surprised she went missing..
i want a job but everything here is full time, nothing flexible enough considering im busy mon-wed. i know loads of places do summer jobs tho so deffo gonna try something like that if i can

Had to drag this 70L tank around the bottom of the town and water the plants in the windows of the shops. It was soul destroying, I got soaked every time without fail and I was electrocuted on more than one occasion. I had to do this three times a week, it took four hours each time and I got €150 per week which was pretty savage.

yeah should be able to get something in summer because all of the uni students go home, saying that though it took me like a year just to find my current part time job at the moment...... it's so ridic finding one and it is hard no matter what anyone says. i'm just glad to be leaving my job in august but it's so sad at the same time :(

eughhhh I wasn't joking about working there.... primark is where everyone wants to be!! you may need that midwifery degree if you go back to primark, this is how babies are made wearing those trashy clothes.

I'm not counting babysitting cuz it's not really a proper job so my first one was at the local medical centre/doctors clinic and was doing the behind the scenes filing and sending the letters home for appointment reminders.... So fun but I got free doctors checkups and flu jabs etc so was worth it really

Used to deliver papers for my local shop. Ended up staying with them for 5 years. Practically ran the place by the time I was seventeen. The family loved me :D

Mine was a one-stop store. Stuck with it for 12 months, became a football referee and gave up the paper round.

Mine was a family owned shop so I just ended up really friendly with them so they trusted me to run the place most of the time :)
