anything that's stuck with u?

i remember being such a meek little child and my teacher saying "it's all in your head, you're strong" blahblah and ive come to use that quite often to myself, if im worrying over something i tell myself that it's just my thoughts and i have the power to change them, even helped me overcome a phobia

& also i think it was @pyropuncher; who said it, "everybody poops" so im like WOW that's actually so true, if someone looks down on you it's like "you poop" so don't look down on me.

also hearing the words that go something like "“The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the- scenes with everyone else's highlight reel.” which is also true because we see ourselves and our flaws which we try to hide from others but assume everyone else is as perfect/normal as they seem to the public all the time but in reality when they're alone in their bedroom you have no idea what they're like, so i always try to remember that just cause someone is great on the outside you never know what they're really like

one of my best online friends told me i deserve to be happy... something about that really resonated with me and changed my mindset.
it's something so simple but at the time, meant so much.

Girls love confidence.

Also, believe in yourself. Pretty straight forward, but yeah.

I don't usually get advice, I'm left to my own devices. Someone feel free to give me some.

i also love that dumbledore quote, and i think the delivery of it was brilliant!

mine would have to be this:

I’m going to tell you what a demon once told me: It is okay to want your own happiness. It’s okay to care about yourself the most. It’s okay to do what’s healthy for YOU. When someone hits you, it’s okay to hit back and then ask them what the hell they expected. It’s okay. You are not obligated to sit there and smile and swallow every bit of **** everyone heaps on you. You are more than furniture, you’re more than window dressing, you’re not their shiny toy. You’re human, and you have the right to say “That was ****** of you”. You have a right to say “Let me feed that back to you; tell me, how does it taste?” You have a right to protest your own mistreatment and set boundaries for respectful interactions. The rest of the world doesn’t realize you have this right, and they will act offended and appalled when you exercise it, but it is yours.

Not to worry, I suppose. I never tend to listen to people when they're telling me all these clichés about how life will get better and all that.

Only reason I picked that one was because I worry too much.

I've been told by quite a few people that I need to stop spectating and waiting for something to happen, but instead act for myself and make things happen.

This one kind of helped me because for a long time I've just been waiting for things to get better but actually delayed myself from getting help. It just made me think that if I want to get better then I'm going to have to want it and try making things better for myself.

Saw that on Tumblr a while ago and loved that one. ^___^ Haven't acted on it though.

Not sure how I got the advice, but not stressing about stuff is seriously beneficial to your health.

Love the quote:
"Love what you do so much that you'd be willing to do it for free. Then become so good at it that people would be willing to pay you to do it".

Not advice but a really awesome quote I like to keep in mind :)

"If this year taught me anything, it's to take your moment when you can"
Good quote and I always think of it when it comes up to a choice I have to make.
