why is this still not allowed?

the average user age seems to be older now, habbo have no issues with you posting pictures of yourself and you're allowed to post them in the graphics forum...

why is this outdated rule still around?

i think they decided you're allowed to as your profile pic (does everyone have ability to have a picture on their profile?) which seems fair to me, i ain't like desperate for it to be allowed as avatars don't care either way as there's still option to put it on your profile

look at chf/hffm i think that's a major reason (for some reason) why they're popular. bring on the pervs.

Wasn't it more of a Community vote about this rule rather than management. As I remember quite a few people saying they don't wish to see users faces in avatars and signatures.

I'd rather see someones face than a picture of a celebrity... Or in my case my dog :p. I'm really nosey so I like to know at least who I'm talking to. I don't want to see 1D or any other over rated boy band/singer as to me that sort of avatar screams a certain kind of stereotype, as bad as that sounds :P. I'd want my avatar to be me, and that should be everyones individual choice, if someone wants a picture of a celeb thats their choice and as long as the avatars of ourselves are PG, whats the problem? Maybe a new poll should be brought out so the 'community' can decide.

I've just looked into this as I thought it would be silly too, and she was asked to remove her latest avatar due to it being oversized, but that was a couple of months ago. There is nothing about having a picture of herself. :O

Nah, if your vip/donator runs outs etc, your avatar becomes too big and one of us sexy red people send you a PM asking you to change it etc. :P

Ahh, ok, that makes sense, I did give her a month or two of VIP and she doesn't have it anymore :P So I was right, in that you can't have an avatar bigger than you're allowed, but that doesn't take into account losing your VIP status, so my bad :)

Noo I'm not saying PAPOY should be banned at all, I've posted a few times there myself but you have to be signed up to see PAPOY whereas if the picture was an avatar, anyone can come onto the forum and take pictures. At least if it's kept to PAPOY and any bullying happened like it has in the pass, forum admins have information on the person such as IP addresses.

to be fair i don't give a **** if some lil kids wanna take my pic n try and bully me. i think most of the members who would put themselves as their av would agree. not allowing it for bullying reasons is silly because 1) anyone that insecure wouldn't be putting themselves as their pic and 2) if anyone is reeeeeeeeeally so strange looking that they were gunna get bullied for it, then i'm sure it wouldn't inconvenience the bullies much by having to go to the picture thread
