(Before you start answering bare in mind this is probably unrealistic)
I've heard different answers for both of these and I thought it would be a good idea to see what other people say.

Scenario 1) Two people (A and B in this case) were both involved in a accident. Both, some how, have both got the same injuries. A and B are very different.
A is a male, 27 years of age and has no one to go to (if he survives), he had dropped out of college and never went back. He is fairly unhealthy for his age.
B is a female, 69  years old and has a lovely supportive family and loads of friends to go to (if she survives) she is healthy for her age.
The only problem is that you have to move one person, since it'd be impossible to operate like this. If you move one, the one who has been moved will die (and vice versa)
How do you choose who lives and who dies?
Scenario 2) Exactly the same profiles but both are suffering different injuries. A has internal bleeding, so he'll probably die if they don't hurry up. Where as B can not feel below her waist, but her operation will be risky as well. And the same problem is that if you move one, they die.
How do you choose who lives and who dies?
my answers:
s1) Probably the female in this case. I say this because she'd have more of a supportive group around her than the male.
s2) Probably the male, he will probably live a good life compared to the elderly woman
ok enjoy ;l

69 is old enough, she has lived a good life already and letting her live would just be a waste. She would probably be gone in 20 years maximum anyway
think this for both situations
and i would lie to her family and say there was no way of saving her

s1 as i sympathize more with women especially the elderly
s2 probably the man

If that did happen, I wouldn't be the one to decide who to save, I'd go get help. But if I had to pick, I'd pick the guy on both occasions.

id pick the guy on both occassions..
This scenario totally reminds me of the scene from the gore/horror movie SAW where they have to kill one person from a selction to move on and they have different backgrounds and blah blah, if anyone has seen the movies you will know what I am talking about haha.

Woman in first, considering I'm sure the guy would probably be considering comitting anyway or at least won't enjoy life, while the woman has a lot of family who care about her that it'd hurt.
In second the guy probably as being younger he'd most likely be likelier to survive and there could be a lot of complications for the woman which wouldn't be great at her age.
In reality I don't think is make the choice tho would get someone else too cause would be too hard and devastating
i'd wanna know a bit more about them than that ;| don't think i'd like to pick life or death but going with this... i'd save the guy in s1 and s2
save lady both times man sounds gd for nothing

s1) the woman because the man seems to have wasted his life so far and the woman is healthy and has many people who'll suffer if she dies
s2) the man because there's more chance he'll survive and it's better to not risk them both dying

Thats tough. I think I would probably have to save the man on both because the woman is older and has lived most of her life already.
the man is uglyhe can def die then (hopefully painfully)
wouldn't move either, why should it be my choice who lives and who dies? no life is worth more than another. i'd have to live with that guilt all of my life

I know this sounds horrible but I'd let them both die, the woman has lived out her usefulness to society and the man is pretty much a waste.
waits for negative rep.
