Where I live right now, I can't say I really know them. I know that above me is an older man, from what I can tell, he doesn't leave very often (always banging about up there!!), below me is an office for the hotel two doors down, then below that is a guy in his mid-20s (I think) from South Africa (@pasta (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=15035); will have to confirm this because I'm not entirely sure). I've only really said hello to the guy above me, the man who works in the office below me can be quite friendly when I see him, but I'd only just say hello and ask him how he is. The guy at the very bottom, has sorta had small talk with me when I leave the dog outside but that's about it :P my boyfriend speaks to him quite a bit though.

So basically, I don't know any of my neighbours on a personal level, only to see them.

I know my neighbours because they live next door to me...

Read it wrong, I know them on a name basis, say hi if I see them in the village...

my neighbour on the left is a 30 something DJ who is always on holiday. he's comes round to do my mums garden and chats to her and also invites her over for bbqs/parties which he has every weekend he's at home. i have never spoke to him, infact my best friend introduced us to each other as neighbours in a pub before lmao :S

house to the right my mum gets along with them, they're a young couple with kids. he used to be a police officer and gave me and my friends a lift home from a disco thing when we were 16 and underage drinking, he sent his number to me over facebook when i was 15 so i avoid him now lol... they're renting their house out in August whilst they go to bible school in america... hopefully be something young and cool!!

to our right is a 42(ish?)y/o woman who moved in about 7 years ago to the new house, that got built by people living in a caravan >.>, but i've never gotten to know her, except from when she got burgled (s9 1 a ye m8 ;) )

Got older neighbours. only really got to know them from being told off for playing football in the street by them when we were younger. occasionally say hi to them now and again, but tried to avoid it because they talk for england lol. they've seen we've grown up now ;)

Yeah, both sides of our houses. They are all nice people, pretty old, but nice. The left hand ones on xmas eve they'd invite us around for a little dinner which was rather cute, and they also invited us around to meet their new baby girl. oh and they'd let me in if i had forgot my keys. The right hand side ones are well nice, they'd say hi every time i walk past and they'd always be happy to give a helping hand.

not very well no. in fact my dad has been calling one of them by dave and it turns out that his actual name is not even close and he's just let him call him dave for the past 10 years or so. although they do look after the house when we're away on holiday and we do the same for them so at least theyre not neighbours from hell or anything bad like that

My mum knows her neighbours and they say to me cos they know my mum but I don't know them.

As for my dad and step mum, they always manage to fall out with the neighbours.

I was really close with one of my old neighbours and even though I don't live next door to them anymore I'm still very close to them. I know one of my new neighbours, she's an old lady and really sweet.

Yes I know them very well. I sometimes go and help them cut grass or paint during summer when they need an extra hand :)

I only know the one to my immediate left and right as well as the one next to the left. But other than that, I have no interest, all oldies or people you don't want to talk to voluntarily.

We've lived in our flat since I was one years old. There is a elderly couple who live downstairs who are lovely looked after me when I was younger. The couple across from the elderly couple downstairs have a cat that always stares at me on the landing. Above me we have two parents with their kids. Yeah the other neighbours are just a casual, hi or hello if we're passing on the stairs or if leaving the flat at the same time. Don't know the other neighbours tbh.

We had neighbours upstairs around two years ago who were a nightmare, they always played music really loudly and then the next day used to harrass us by saying sorry and being really werid. The son of the woman was a psychopath and she didn't want him in the house so he used to attempt to brake open the flat entry door and then bang on her door. Police had to be called and everything about them. Ever since they moved out it's been all nice and quiet. :)

I'm in a cul-de-sac surrounded by the elderly, and one (I think) drug dealer... I live in a nice place too believe it or not haha. I say hi to them sometimes, I know their names purely because they post a Xmas card to my parents every year. I have been called a gob sh*te by the next door neighbour when I was young once, and it's stuck with me forever and still don't like her! I regularly speak to a man in my cul-de-sac and I can't really say anything bad about him, but apart from him, no I don't really know my neighbours, which I think is a bit sad :P

We've lived in the same building since we were three, so pretty much everyone knows us. Somehow when you're twins it makes you like instant celebrities. Just the other day when we were headed for the elevator, we heard a neighbor lady saying to someone, "those are the twins I was telling you about! aren't they adorable?!" puke.

One next door neighbour been there since I was born and him and wife used to look after me. He has always been friendly with my fam/ give me money at Christmas. He has dementia though :{ Then the other house next door new people moved in and I have spoken to them a few times. I know a good number in my street because they have all lived there for my entire life.

To the left is an old couple who should be on that TV show about people who are hoarders. I haven't been in their house but my mum has and she says it's full right up to the roof of all this stuff and there's these teeny paths around the rooms to walk in. I've seen their back porch though and it's super full of stuff.
But they're nice, always saying hello to us when we walk past and we feed their cat when they're on holidays.

Everyone else around I just know if they're old/young couples or families. The people across the road from us had their son pass away a couple of years ago, the people to the right of us have at least one older daughter, and the people across the road to the left are a youngish family.

I don't know my neighbours, one is really scary and is the type you can imagine peering over the fence looking into your house at night, the other is an old lady and her daughter and since we moved here we called the police 4 times coz of their domestics. The people accross from us have a nice cat, so i like them.

We've always taken the time to know ours. Every place we moved my mom would always invite the neighbours over for a party.. I've kept up the tradition

Yep, on my left my sisters play with their children all the time so our families are close, on our right is a rented place and no one is there longer than a few months at a time so we don't bother anymore getting to know whoever is there

I know them but I don't talk to anyone in my road apart from the son of one family, and considering 9/10 houses down my road have kids which go to my school the fact we don't speak is bad lol
