Cheeky. Interesting for the lawyers too. This one will run and run.

Meanwhile the Sunday Telegraph reports Patrick Mercer convinced Keith Vaz, Valerie Vaz, Julien Brazier, Mark Field and Fabian Hamilton to join his Fiji APPG. And the Sunday Times has stung Lords Laird, Cunningham & MacKenzie.

“Lord Cunningham, Lord Mackenzie of Framwellgate and Lord Laird offered to become paid advocates for a firm pushing for new laws to benefit its business. They also said they could set up an all party parliamentary group as a lobbying vehicle.”

No wonder Labour were so quiet on Friday.

This isn't really my cup of tea as i'm more interested in policy rather than personality or who is ******** who, but hey it is being touted as a big story on the same lines as the John Major-Edwina Currie affair so yeah. Anyway for legal reasons the papers aren't naming them and nor is Guido, but he has left hints on his Twitter feed. Apparently it's a top Tory who isn't in the cabinet.

When I told the PM's aide about the affair referred to on the front page of the Mail on Sunday the blood drained from his face (1/2)

Guido Fawkes ‏@GuidoFawkes 5h

He then took a large swig of his drink. (2/2)

Not allowed to name or speculate ourselves as far as i'm aware, so i'd advise against any outright naming or even obvious hints. :P But going by those 'hints' Guido left - I take them as talking about blood. That's all i'm saying - and from that I think I know who. I could be taking those hints completely the wrong way though.

I'm sure it'll be out in public pretty soon, usually these things are leaked and then the papers stop withholding the information.

Thoughts? are you on to the clues?

Inseriousity.

"One person we can rule out Downing Street ToryAffair is Cameron. He's never there" LOLOL.

Meh affairs are bound to happen at any workplace so I'm not really that fussed but I can't work out the clues! Injunction? Hypocrisy in action then.

Since when was it a secret that Cameron gave Nick Clegg a shafting?

Maybe that's the affair! Because Cameron is hardly ever at No.10, someone else is doing the shafting of Clegg :O

Cameron is too busy shafting his own party along with the country at large.

...ps, can't believe nobody has cottoned on to the apparent blood reference. :P

onto it.

I loved some of the piss taking on the Guido comments though, from Eric Pickles and William Hague to Samantha Cameron and Nigel Farage. :P

Ah looks like I was completely wrong. Guido left a clue but not the one I was looking at.

One Labour MP said something along the line that this will 'finish' Cameron. Remains to be seen.

Inseriousity.

It is a bit, but it's nice to see something sexual that doesn't involve children in the 1960s/70s and a celebrity or individual in a high position.
