Sony's conference was done right unlike M$ that focused on Tv, Sport and CoD.

I believe Sony won last year and i see them taking the lead at E3 again. M$ Will show of a few games and some of there new ip's. Sony gets to do the same AND reveal the console which at the end of the day could look like like a toaster and i would still buy it. It's all about the games. Uncharted 4 yes pls.

Well, we shall find out on thursday probably (or whenever Konami's pre-e3 conference is).

I'd prefer to a something new from Naughty Dog too, not Uncharted 4 especially when they seem to create a new IP every generation. Saying that, TLOU kind of killed that pattern.
Only 1 week and 7 hours to go (for Sony) :P

Yea thats only because they split up the team after UC2. I would like Uncharted to continue until 5. 4 at the start of the Ps4 and 5 Near the end and to finish it off. Last of Us to get 2+3 on the Ps4 as well.

MGS another series that should probably end soon. When the whole voice replacement thing came about i thought it would be a troll on Kojima's part and the end of the game would be set just before MG with Solid appearing at the end. MG1+2 Remake and to finish it all off a nice modern MGS Remake to finish it with. Just my thoughts tho.

I guess. I don't see there being Uncharted 5 but from a business standpoint I can see there being an Uncharted 4 for launch. I won't judge if I want another TLOU until the first is released, but it could be good.

Yeah it probably should end, but it won't. There will always be spin offs, like with MGR:R, or new story arcs like (what many people are wanting) following The Boss' storyline.

Oh also, I'm hoping for gameplay of The Last Guardian and really wish The Getaway or Eight Days will be announced for PS4 :P

I'm looking forward to everything and anything to be honest. Can't wait to see what more about all these exclusive games Microsoft has, and how much money I will have to part with to buy an XB1.

Microsoft focused on their new features and then showed two of the best selling games and a teaser of an exclusive. A bunch of new features that gamers aren't interested in, repeatedly calling it a entertainment system instead of a games console, talking about watching tv through your x box on your tv and skype'ing while watching a film. They spoke about 1 new IP when they claimed to have 8 new ones and they finished on Call of Duty which Playstation will also be getting. Most people don't care for CoD nor getting DLC 6 months late.

I can't see how that was done wrong? We know Xbox has games, that's why they saved them to E3, at least they actually showed their console at a console reveal... And Ps4 is slaughtering Xbox in Polls. my 2 brothers are converting, everyone at my work who gets a console is getting a Ps4 minus 1 fanboy and Lots of people have said they will most likely switch online, Not to mention after the XB1 reveal Sonys stock went up and M$ went down slightly. This is all from M$ flopping at there conference and Sony appealing to the gamers. Sony haven't showed there console and look at the response they have got. Come E3 M$ will try show off all there new games and try make all there fans happy again, Then Sony will come out and show there console stealing the thunder from M$ and then showing off all there games.

It doesn't matter what a console looks like it's about what it's capable off.

I'm looking forward to everything and anything to be honest. Can't wait to see what more about all these exclusive games Microsoft has, and how much money I will have to part with to buy an XB1.

Bunch of sports stuff, Forza, that game with the ship forgot the name of it and CoD is what they showed i was meaning show us something new like that game with the ship but should have done it bigger and better to end the conference.

And i'm aware it was worldwide but all those tv features are US only.

£429 is very high, although not surprising given the forced Kinect inclusion.

Having said that, this is cheaper than a VCR was in 1985 (in fact if you account for inflation, by about $350!)

Sony are being crap. Microsoft are clearly better running their conferences on time. Maybe Sony are adding some duct tape on the PS4 to make it look better? Maybe drawing on some pretty silver lines with a marker pen. Maybe they've realised they've not actually developed a console, but an entertainment system and are afraid of the backlash they'll get.

Didn't watch any of the console streams, I only watched the Ubisoft one, after hearing the price I was put off by the Xbox One but all the games Ubisoft announced just reeled my right back in, will be getting a pre-order down for that soon, as far as I'm concerned Ubisoft "won" E3, but I didn't bother watching Microsoft or Sony so all I know is what I've read online.

For me personally the best thing about the PS4 announcement was the price, and that's only because it means I might actually be able to get both consoles this gen. Nothing at the actual conference made me want to cancel my Xbox One pre-order

As a massive Xbox fan, the PS4 has done very, very well. And only £349? Wow. This really sucks for me now, haha :P Hopefully Xbox One will have some changes before release, but at the moment I think I'll avoid pre-order for both.

Nice to see PlayStation finally making people pay for online gaming as well, at least people can stop using that in PS V Xbox wars, although to be fair, they don't need it now with everything else they've got.

Excellent price by Sony - not at all surprised though, given the failure in the last generation pre-order wars.

Still will not be buying due to travelling, but it should be even better priced in a years time :L

Well the RRP of most games are £55 for current generation so they will probably actually sell for a bit lower by the time PS4 and XBone comes.

Probably £45 or £50 at the most expensive retailers. I also wouldn't use Call of Duty as an average for game pricing on consoles, it's generally that little bit more expensive.

Two things to take into consideration, VAT and minimum wage. I think somebody worked out for the XBOne that it actually takes less working hours for someone in the UK (on average wage) compared to someone in the USA (on average wage) so I assume it's something similar with the PS4.

Ahh, I understood the VAT (even though I'm sure that wasn't enough to make up the price difference), so I assume that's where the minimum wage comes in I guess. Never thought that would come into what decides the price, but what would I know?

I'm really hoping Xbox go back on their bad features, I'm not bothered by Kinect, but all the issues with used games/one person per disc thing. Such an issue. Hopefully, they're smart enough to realise.

It is region-free, and yes you could. I imagine packaging would be too high - but you could buy one whilst in America.. ;)

Well there's also import VAT which will make the PS4 around £305-£310 so if you shipping is less than £40 or so then yeah :P Personally I'd rather just avoid the hassle and time delay and go and pick one up in a shop, even if it is more expensive. Oh and the expense of a "plug converter" (not sure what they're actually called).

And not just the anime games. Also games that are releasing months apart i remember Pokemon use to have a 4-6 month gap between UK and US. And price can be a factor as well.

well. i voted for microsoft but i think sony might of just won it.

the xbox doesnt has as good graphics inbuilt power. but due to cloud computering, its able to make them better than the ps4 which is pretty much why it requires a connection (aswell as DRM etc)

I did read somewhere aswell, that Every xbox one you have they'll be 3-4 servers for your console to deal with the cloud stuff.

I think the DRM model is interesting. People are forgetting that as long as you login to your account at a friends house, you'll be able to play together.
