Recommend any Android apps?

I'm probably the last person to get a Android phone, got a new phone today with it on. I know there's tons of apps out there but just wondering if there's any you recommend for me to download?

Can you search by app developer?
There's a Japanese software development company called Kairosoft Co. Ltd. who make similar games, some of which are on Android in English. The games are quite simulation-based, and often you run some form of business. The iPhone big ones are game development, a sushi bar, a traditional Japanese town and a football team.
You can google them, too.
