View Full Version : Are we able to customise 'New Posts' at all?

I was wondering if we were able to customise what we see when we click 'New Posts' at the top of the forum, especially since this is displayed for me at the top of the page each time:

Search:

Type: Posts; Excluded Forums not On Competition Entries; New Posts

Not entirely sure what that does, since I still see competition threads.

But basically, it'd be nice if we could customise what forums we see, or what forums we want to exclude. Maybe even exclude threads by certain users out of the search? For example, I'm sure many people would like to exclude my feedback threads from their new posts screen :P

If this is doable, could we apply it to the Activity Stream? I would love to stop viewing certain threads appearing in the stream : L

The link for new posts is:

http://www.habboxforum.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=1512&contenttype=vBForum_Post

If you change the exclude parameter to what you want to exclude then add a bookmark then you'll get the desired effect.

So this excludes certain forums? That's great :) Anyway of excluding threads by a certain person? I suppose using the ignore list would work, but then you lose their posts on other threads I presume.

Not without custom plugins that matt refuses to install (I think).

Oh that's good, cheers. Can block the annoying celeb gossip (for now) that keeps appearing in Current Affairs,
