/ Has your house been broken into?

Err, when I was younger and was hanging out with a friend, my friend ended up being punched by like 16+ year olds and her phone was stolen from her. All because she said she had no credit :P So not exactly me in that situation.

I remember I was also in the park a few years back, me and my friend were targeted by young traveller boys who kept asking us for money. When we tried to move, they'd cycle their bikes around to the front of us and wouldn't let us go. I took out my purse to prove I had no money (stupid, I know!) I had a lot of change at the time, and they both grabbed it all :(

The other day I was in the park again with another friend and her sister, we had her two dogs and my dog. A young traveller boy (bad luck with them lmao) started whistling at my dog for awhile and we were just kinda like :S anyway, he ended up coming over and asking me stuff about the dog. We were throwing a ball around the park which the dogs were chasing after, so I ended up walking quite far away 'cus the dogs lost the ball. My dog followed me and so did the young boy, asking more questions and stuff :( Then he started trying to call her away from us and bringing her over towards him, so I had to call her back. We assume that he was trying to steal her 'cus she looks like a labrador (even though she's a cross) and he was asking extremely strange questions about her. They also do that sort of thing here a lot as of late :(

My house has never been broken into, but the day after Christmas, someone tried to :( They kept bashing at the door, obviously thinking no one was home and ended up bending the lock so much we got locked in and had to have it replaced.

Couple of months ago, my dads evo got the back window prized open as they must have been trying to "steal to order". I just happened to be having a cig out of my bedroom window and saw 2 guys peeking over the fence (the third was getting into the car but never saw him). At first I just thought they were being nosey so thought nothing of it but just thought I'd go outside with a bat in my hand (lol) just incase there was something up... they soon fled after I saw and approached them.. did give a bit of a chase but thought if they were going, they wouldn't come back and were more scared me than I was of them lol... next morning we found the back window prized open and the door not fully shut (so they got in). I never heard the alarm of the car go off, but it was working 'cos we tested it. They were never caught but I think I scared them off for good... we moved the car into a more secure place so they wouldn't even see it now haha :P

i live on a small island where everyone seems to know eachother, doesnt happen very often. Ive been mugged in coventry before, i was sitting down and a group of 12/13 year olds try to grab hold of me to get my wallet and phone. It didnt work out for them, they didnt realize i was quite so tall (dont know how thats scary tbh) and ran off

When I was about 8, me and my sister were out in the yard playing, but it's not really a yard. Anyway her friend came over and her sister so we were talking to her over the wall. She left and we went to the same youth group so I saw her showing me and my sister her 'new' watch, but it looked old, tacky and one of the holes was missing the metal bit around it. When I got home I told my mum and dad who rang the girl's house and her parents answered and as soon as she knew it was my mum she was taking the watch off; they posted it through our letterbox that evening/the next morning. It was my watch after all, I don't think anything else has been stolen off me though.

Yes my bike was stolen from primary school - then like 2 days later my older brother saw someone with it (happened to be one of his old mates) and took it off of him.

During PE in year 8/9 a lot of phones etc were stolen from the changing rooms, so I never took my phone in on Fridays :)

And traveller type people tend to be stealing dogs around my area a lot too.

I had my blazer stolen in year 7 and someone who stayed over at my house stole a few of my things when I was in year 8.

With both cases I either got my stuff back or was given money to make up for it. I'm more suspicious of people and anxious if I have to leave my stuff somewhere now but I haven't been stolen from since so :Thumbs-Up:

Yes!! When I was really young my mum started dating again after being divorced for ages and her partner made us go to this really dodgy area in Sydney and then we went to the beach and he left the car unlocked and my phone was stolen ~.~
I was so angry because I didn't wanna go to this horrid area to begin with lol

Oh now I remember, at High School these two girls took my tie off me and it's the year we got clip on ones, they put it on the door because I'm short so I can't reach it. A couple of minutes later they went back for it and it wasn't there. So the next day I went to school in my old tie and my teacher asked why so I told her and said my mum refuses to buy another one and she sided with me; the girls bought me a new one, but I attempted to give them the money back, but they wouldn't have it.

Another thing was more of a copy than a steal, but for my Design project I was making a clock so this person, one of them who stole my tie decided to make one too, so basically stole my idea, she soon changed it though :P ;).

I dropped 20 pound in River Island, and someone picked it up and walked out the shop, and it was the last money i had so i couldnt buy the hat i wanted.
But on the topic of stealing, i stole a packet of jellytots, and my dad told me the man who worked there would have no dinner and i cried. Yeeee

Yeah a few years ago before my family and I were going on holiday so we parked up the car for a quick sec to like get sorted in this secure area and it got broken into.. Obviously not secure sigh. All our luggage and electronics and everything for a 2 week holiday gone. Over $11k i think.. We still went although it was **** and spent most of time in insurance places.
My dads vans been broken into a few times back in England, He's an electrician so loads of tools and stuff in it :/

Umm I was walking my dog in the park once and these boys kept trying to call her over and then when she finally went over to see what they were making a fuss about one of the boys grabbed her. I was so panicked 'cause I knew I would never be able to chase after them if they ran off with her she just peed all down his neck 'cause she's a little dog and he screamed like a girl, dropped her and ran off.

My dog is fabulous.
