i'm really not sure. i sometimes think i've had a few fake friends in the past and i've coped pretty well with it, some aspects of the 'friendship' with them have been hard but it's always been quite nice to have somebody to talk to, whether they care or not.

at this point i'd probably pick being lonely, but when school starts i'd much rather have people that can't stand me and just pretend they can as i'd hate to sit alone in the corner lol

Lonely. There's a difference between being alone (numerical) and feeling lonely (personal) anyway. You can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely. I'm an independent person so I'd choose being alone over having fake friends because I'm at a stage in my life where I do not need to seek the comfort of others, however fake it may be, to feel like I'm worth something.

I wouldn't want either to be honest but if I had to choose, it'll probably be lonely. Although with fake friends, you'd still have some company but I think it'll just cause drama which is effort to deal with haha so lonely!
