I'm not even sure how, but I just stumbled across this and it's got a few interesting facts in it. They're mainly talking about how Habbo has embraced games and all that (e.g. tetrablok)

As an example, we created a very simple game called Habbo Fast Food to test the client. In the first six weeks, it had 3.6 million unique players and made about 100,000 euros from in-game power-ups

Will you set any limitations on the number of games published?
Yes. We’ve decided that we want to publish about one to two per month, and we’re going to promote these about a month in advance.

One of those is once HTML5 breaks through in the next few years, we can do games.habbo.com, which will work universally with every device.

I'm also surprised they only have 60 employees now, I'm sure it was around the 100 mark but 60 seems quite a little.

I spent a little on that game. I will be honest. It's addicting and I was trying to collect those badges! Lol

I knew Sulake were turning Habbo into a social-gaming platform the moment they released that Niko thing, then slowly adding stuff in client, otherwise they would've been ran into the ground bankrupt. The downside to this is they're losing the social aspect of Habbo, it's harder to meet potential friends now that all the public rooms disappeared. When I used to stay in my room everyone would tell me how the other 18+ rooms had crappy owners or just generally rude people who'd kick you from their room for no reason.
