Hi guys, i have tried my Invision forum and i know it sucks. I have no clue how to use phpbb so was wondering if anyone would like to design one for me?

If you wont do for free, let me know how much and i'll see what i can do.

Its for my clan website, thanks.

Hi Disaronno,

Why not try myBB? It's a very nice and free piece of forum software.

There are many themes available free of charge for it as well. Of course setting up a forum with little technical knowledge (I'm assuming that's what you have) can be quite tough. You will learn new things all the time - just watch some youtube videos and see your forum improve :)

You can check mine out here: http://www.egyptianhistory.co.uk

Ultimately phpBB is the best choice, but it does seem in the world of skins that myBB is the only option. Bit like IPB and vB.

I'm pretty sure when you download a theme it gives you various bits and bobs that require you to simply drag and drop (or copy and paste) into the relevant directories where your site is being hosted. You can do this via your FTP client, such as FileZilla. Then you just install the theme via the admin control panel.

Installing a theme is very very basic in terms of websites. I literally have no experience coding in HTML/CSS/PHP or setting up websites and I managed to do it first time. Maybe a friend could help you through the process? If you aren't able to do something simple like this how will your site ever progress?

Read the readme, that's what they're for.

If you can't upload software then you're probably best off not using it. If you want to learn, read. If you don't want to read, tough.
