You now get a Base Wall Decoration as opposed to 7 days of HC.

You might have noticed that recently Habbo removed the ability to gain a 7 day HC trial if you completed the citizenship track, now they have edited that reward and swapped it for another!

To gain citizenship status on Habbo you are required to fulfil some tasks which take a few days to complete, they are:

*Read the Safety Tips.
- After doing this, you will receive a Rubber Duck.
*Change your looks for the first time.
*Spend a total of 30 minutes on the hotel.
*Give 2 respects.
*Visit 5 rooms on the hotel.
- After doing this, you will receive another Rubber Duck.
*Be a Habbo for 1 day.
*Visit 20 rooms on the hotel.
*Spend a total of 60 minutes on the hotel.
- After doing this, you will receive another Rubber Duck and your Trading Pass will be enabled.
*Be a Habbo for 3 days.
*Spend a total of 120 minutes on the hotel.
*Pass the Habbo Way quiz.
*Get 2 friends.
- After doing this, you will receive another Rubber Duck, a Base Wall Decoration and you'll be classed as a full citizen.

The new item is the Base Wall Decoration, available to buy for either 5 Credits, or available to rent for 75 Duckets. The new reward cannot be traded or recycled either thus, your player is stuck with it!

Although many appreciated the 7 day HC trial, it's nice to have an item that you'll keep throughout your Habbo life. What do you think about the update though? Share your views by clicking 'Read More and Comment.'

It's good that they removed HC because people are tempted to buy it to try it out. However, I do miss having one week of HC on my clones. I suppose the duck poster works out well as a new prize seeing as all the other prizes are ducks.

Citizenship is stupid and confusing for new members. Should be scrapped!

Why change this? HC was a great thing rather than a piece of furni ;l

hc was a gd reward for the user and was in habbos interests. once you've had hc and lost it u know and have experienced the differences and r more tempted to pay for it again :S

HC was way better, and it was only 7 days so idk why they'd remove it. I doubt many new users would buy credits just to buy HC now that they don't give you it, because the new user might not even know the difference - but with having the trial and then losing those features after 7 days, surely they'd be more likely to buy credits to extend HC?

I couldn't stand the new Citizenship tasks when I first signed up on new account - then again I suppose the hotel is so complicated nowadays for newer users.

Also, 15,000th post!

I see this as a way to prevent a lot of trolls.

If it confuses new people, then they might lack proper IQ to even play the game lol.

How does it prevent trolls? lmao They can still play, just not trade :S When you have no idea what habbo is or any idea of what to do on it can be confusing. Plus there is a range of ages and a lot started playing under age 13 anyway. Before they added the link to it to the right hand corner they had to click me, then talents, and then click citizenship track. Loads of people came into the desk confused about it.

HC was good because it showed people what extras they could get, enticing them to buy it.
