Looking at the Top Posters I know only one is close, but why not have a 25,000 post award, even if another status isn't after it?

I agree, if people are moving towards the 25k and 30k mark then introduce awards/ranks to match them.
Agreed. Don't even know if I'm up to date with my post awards haha
Noooo bad update :P Because I'll never reach the top award :P I wonder if anyone will ever get 100,000 posts :O
I think Chris; said that once someone hits it he will make the rank

Really don't think more ranks are needed - Habbox God is fine, just think we Ben more will put people off if anything (if they think they'll never reach the number)

This. As I've said before, just because people meet the top ranks doesn't really mean you need more. 20,000 is already an outstanding number of posts and there's no need for more ranks. However, nothing wrong with posting awards for 30,000/40,000/50,000 :P.

Would be nice to see more awards introduced, it's nice to have a challenge to go for.

According to the FAQ there already are stars awarded for each 10,000 posts..
If the award is there, it's there for someone to aim towards :P
Chippiewill yeah but no forum award

An award would be nice for those who earn it ;)

I brought that up in a previous thread and was told it was a mistake, I think :P.

bit pointless to keep raising the bar imo

I don't think it is, whilst they wouldn't get any visible stars due to their userbar I would hope that they'd still get the extra 25 rep points per star.

Habbox RVR? Lookee here!
Before my good sense kicked in, there was a section here of me amusing myself with fake modedits using names of mods, smods, and admins past. Unfortunately you all missed out.

10,000 posts... 25 rep points :L
Give awards for sure, don't keep adding more ranks

What's the point in another award? I think the whole award system is pointless anyway.
Basically, why didn't someone just VM GoldenMerc; and ask if he wants an image saying '25,000 posts'
Oi, Ross, want to give the graphics department a job to do, or aren't you bothered?

Whats the point :P Chris does what he wants on this forum now, what ever he says goes. thus why my posting goes down and down every week.

Didn't Chris say he would do a new rank when someone reached it?
But isn't that at 70k/80k posts?

Thats not true at all, if it was then I wouldn't have created numerous polls for forum changes in recent months. What you're saying might have been true under past forum managers but it isn't anymore. The community decides.
Anyway, I don't personally see the point when theres only like 1 person near the mark.

Let's be honest, there is no point increasing the ranking system for like 5 people. As I have said, feel free to make awards (although they are completely pointless anyway)!

Those fun polls that you flip-flop on depending on who gives you the most grief you mean

Well it shouldn't. I don't know why you're trying to suggest that a forum manager doesn't have the final say in how the forum runs; just because you might get criticised for it doesn't mean it isn't your job. If the community is in charge as you say then your role is pointless and FM should be toned down and turned back into Moderation Manager like it used to be

We can get Matt to confirm thats un-true if you're going to start that.

No I think you misunderstood what I'm trying to say. Things like this can be decided as a community because it's not something that's going to have a major effect on the forum. More important things such as rule changes can also be discussed to get an idea of what people want, but any changes that do get made are ultimately down to me.
If you don't agree with that then thats fine, but it's how I believe things should work and how it will continue to work.
