I caught a bug from my brother yesterday and last night I vomited quite a lot (first time in about 3 years) and there was like 5 lots of vomit which were brown because of one oreo I had ate before!
This morning I had some shreddies which I ended up throwing up about 1 hour after
So today I haven't ate anything, is there anything that I can eat without being sick?
I had lucozade earlier and I feel a little better already
thx:)
Get well soon!
When I'm really sick I usually try avoiding food altogether before my mum intervenes and tries to get me to eat. I like having soup when I'm ill.

I don't eat anything until a day or two after, then when I feel hungry I just go for a dry piece of toast.

Soup. Must. Eat. Soup.
Try to stay away from bananas though, not sure why, but it upsets me when I eat them.

NO. All of you are WRONG. Soup is a hideous thing to eat when you're feeling ill unless you have a sore throat!! If you have an upset stomach it's horrible because it just all sloshes round in your tummy and makes you feel even more BLEURGH.
Eat marmite toast! Mix it with butter because then it's not as strong. You'll probably need to mix it with quite a lot of butter to make it go a kind of caramel-y colour. When I say "mix" I mean put butter on the side of a plate, put a bit of marmite in it and then mix. Add more of whatever you think it needs. Don't just put butter on the toast and then marmite on top. Where do people get this idea from :S This is a hideous way to eat marmite??

Sorry for turning this into a marmite rant. I have strong opinions on the subject.

I've always been taught by my mum to leave it until you've gone a good few hours without vomiting, and start with a slice of dry toast, then perhaps go up to crackers. Always worked for me :P

Normal food. I only eat differently if it's tonsillitis, in which case I jus eat stuff that isn't too hard to swallow and drink milk.
Dry toast, same thing everyone else should eat when sick.

Dry toast really? I have never heard of that before :O
I always thought soup was a good option.
Usually I would just eat toast and drink tea :)

I would actually eat chicken noodle soup and tea. When you are sick sometimes it can be hard to eat but to be honest if you do not eat would it cure you faster?

When I get sick, it's bad, and if it's bad, I eat anything that contains potasium and fish.
Chamomile tea, fruits (apples, oranges), oats, chicken.

Looks like you have a food poisoning. You need to stay hydrated with electrolytes so I recommend Gatorade or a couple cans of Canada Dry. Also, stay away from food. It will only make it more upset.
I spent almost 2 days just trying to stay hydrated and that is your best bet. If you can get in a sauna, I also recommend sweating some of it out because too much liquid and you will throw it up.
This won't be a pleasant ride, but it goes away in no time.

When I'm ill I usually eat dry toast, soup and drink a lot of lucozade. I always drink lucozade when I'm ill ever since the doctor told me it was good to. I thought it was a little strange but it works.

quali-tea advice (h)
tea is a good idea tho.
fruit tea is nicer than normal tea when you are ill.
I always drink a lot of tea and eat soup. My Nan always makes me Sweet Potato & Leek soup when I'm ill :P.

I'll usually stick to the likes of yoghurts and lolly ices, or steak & some salad.

i'm never hungry when i'm sick but my mom makes me eat toast
Grass.
Lol joking I'm not a dog. I usually try to eat bread. If bread on its own is too plain try having some soup alongside to dip your bread in. :)

tea works for me too for some reason except green tea, that will make you throw up im guessing cause it's detoxing so it's a good idea if u actually want to throw up to try feel better. i also get a real thirst for milk when im ill as well as cold pasta and noodles.
Inseriousity.

Used to hate being ill because it meant a diet of toast and water for the whole day and not even nice swimming in butter toast!

If i feel sick it'd be either digestives or toast. Anything else i'd just eat normally really. When I had tonsilitis though I didn't eat anything whatsoever for a week and a half it was so painful lol

Nothing for at least a day. If you're getting an appetite; dry toast. A weird one for me has always been raw carrot sticks...
