There's things today I love that we wouldn't have had five years back, but then there's also things we miss now that we had back then. Idk.. I guess I enjoyed Habbo most just before the merge, but then the merge kind of ruined everything for me and then I got hacked and so on :(.

2001, the advent of Habbo was just a completely new thing and it was hilarious all of us trying to get to grips with it and learn how it all works and such

07-09 was best for me. Once Habbo Beta was released, and the merge happened, it kinda ruined everything.

I loved it back when I joined in like 05 but my favourite time was over dec/jan/feb of 2010/2011 when I was on a lot with all my favourite people :)

Agreed (.co.uk). It still had the in-client and off-client charm of the 03/4 hotel but with the improved competitions, steady release of recolours, an active community, RPGs were big. We'd already lost Hobbas but Habbo Xs were in, fansite communities were great at this time, many great sites competing for the top spot. Meanwhile scripting and hacking were still rife, which I kinda liked, as there was always an element of surprise and danger to playing.

Sorry, I am not an old-schooler, but the days when I started playing 2008-2009 was awesome. And not forgetting the events in my hotel back then was really fun and exciting, especially when the hotel is catered to us (staffs like Appledoe and Tallespin are such close to all of us, and will host impromptu events etc). x.x (unlike now... their ******** timings is always when I'm sleeping).
Anyway, the starting of the merge was alright - met some nice friends :)
