have you ever been called horrible/racial names?

i know it can be a big issue for a lot of people whether you are gay, a particular skin tone or physically/mentally disabled.

in life i have been called a fair few racial names due to my black skin tone such as the most common n word to the term 'gollywog'. i usually use this words when talking to my friends but when someone calls you it it isnt really nice.

As for my mental disability I have heard people saying stuff about me when they think I cannot hear, however I can. Things I have been called are 'loopy' or 'psycho'. i mean i have had to deal with bipolar for a long time and i try to cope with it and act as normal as possible. however it is quite often hard when you hear people calling you stuff like this.

Also, this may be something many woman experience, but on regular occasions I have been called both the S words referring to a woman that sleeps around an awful lot. I do not wish to disclose my sex life on here as it will cause a debate whether they were right to call me it. However, i felt very offended to be called this and i am sure any girl would not want to experience being classed as one.

I was called *REMOVED* by mates because of darker skin tone, sometimes in heated arguments but mainly as a joke. Ermmmm.. called all sorts still by mates ie *REMOVED*, all banter though.

Not once been offended by any of it, serious or not serious. Just give it back. :P

the only time ive ever even been called the S word is from boys on the internet otherwise ive only really heard it from one person irl lmao. other than that no, no-one irl really calls me anything apart from the occasional weird which I don't find particularly offensive.

I'm white, just rather tanned and have very very brown hair (looks black).

Maybe there is something in there from abroad, but not to my knowledge.

My friends used to call me fat as a joke and one of my friends used to take food (e.g. if I had a bag of chips and he took a chip) and he's say "fat tax". I wouldn't consider myself fat, I'm not overweight but I am still pretty self-concious about it and this didn't really help.

My brother called me the S word once can't even remember why but it didn't have anything to do with what the word actually means, I think I had just told him to do something like clean up when he didn't want to.

I've also been called something because of my nationality in what was meant to be a rude way but I actually thought it was hilarious.

I've been called many names, my mum would go ape if my sister was rude to me, saying that she isn't this or that. School I got names thrown at me and stuff as well. The ones at school were more jokes than anything though.

*REMOVED*, all sorts mostly homophobic or transphobic slurs. Obv plenty of just general swearing and basic insults too but those are the ones that hit home

i get called pretty much daily but it tends not to bother me
when i get stressed out it doesnt help and i tend to get worked up over it

nah i literally just deal with it now, it used to REALLY get to me but eeeeh less so now. it's a shame that i literally have the attitude to just act like it's the 'norm' to be called racist names lol because it's literally socially acceptable to be openly racist to people you see on the street/actually know in my area (unless you have more than one brain cell and realise racism is wrong, brownie points to you)
