My blood is boiling from this video.

Whatever you make of his politics and the EDL, the video clearly shows an assault by two men (and I would bet my life that they are UAF thugs) on Robinson and his friend - after which Police suddenly stop Robinson and announce that HE is under arrest because of some ******** that he's not allowed to walk past a mosque. It's not popular to defend him or the EDL, but from this video it looks like the Police are in the wrong and not him.

Now even if Robinson were to walk past a mosque, so what? sure he's being provocative, but that ought to be allowed in a free country provided the situation does not turn violent much in the same way a gay pride march ought to be allowed to walk past a Church.

But you know, a few years back when Islamic hate preacher Abu Hamza and his gang all were praying outside a PUBLIC ROAD?? our pathetic Police just stood by with the road blocked off, despite the fact they [the people praying] were blocking public access. Imagine of Robinson or the EDL had done that just as you can imagine what would have happened if Robinson or his mate had assaulted two men in the same fashion as they were. Just imagine it and try to think what the outcome out be. But of course, they're a 'diverse' minority so that's just fine.

So from this video and the looks of it who do I find myself siding with? The Police or Tommy Robinson? What a situation/predicament to be in.

Thoughts?

The worst part is people will probably applaud this without actually thinking about what's really happened.

This seems like he only got arrested because a fight happend and he was to do with it (didn't do anything (e.g attack)) and because he's in EDL he gets arrested

This make me pretty angry

Sometimes I actually hate the police. This is one of those times.

EDIT: However the assault wasn't unprovoked, as clearly shown in the video.

The police are pretty useless. They'll protect Abu Hamza and that lot but they'll target and arrest these lot for doing absolutely nothing, victimised or what. I think they just wanted them out of there because they were causing a scene. Looking at the bigger picture though these people are probably quite dangerous - Hamza and Robinson so I don't really feel sympathy for either.

I know it's not really related but when I got arrested the bloke pinned me up the wall by the neck first, after his wife threw a drink over my girlfriend yet I was the one arrested.

That woman police officer is useless as well.
