It doesn't seem so bad that someone could die - unless they inhale too much smoke - but I assume that it started grounded and everyone's off.

I hope so anyway

It was coming in for landing so there would have been an impact of some sort. Some what reminds me of the British Airways 777 crash at Heathrow a few years ago. Hopefully no one has died and were able to get off the plane quickly.

Yeah - if I'm correct there also seems to be no severe damage to the plane either, so it can't have been a major impact I guess.

Hopefully it'll all turn out okay and be a small oven fire, yeah :S

oh wow okay i take it back. QUite a fair bit of damage ;s

All the passengers seem quite calm/not running etc so I assume they're not in too much danger etc. Glad to see most unharmed though.

I can only assume that by the time the fire made that much damage to the plane, all the passengers were off?

Hopefully anyway.

BBC is still saying no confirmed casualties. Looks pretty bad in that picture, luckily people got off quickly.

Which site says that?
All the ones I have seen are saying there's a few burn victims but that's all ;s

Was a few of the American news websites but information is changing. Reports are now coming in via Sky News and Reuters that 1 person has died.

Reuters: South Korean diplomat in San Francisco says one person has been killed and 20-30 injured in airport plane crash

Not the best thing to see when you're 10 days away from flying to America.

I'm surprised that there weren't more deaths...
