View Full Version : Girls! Are you scared of giving birth?

I think birth is a wonderful thing. In the future, I don't think I will ever be able to date someone who does not or intends not to have children as I want another child!!!! I have already had one child and even though giving birth was a tiring and somewhat terrifying experience, it actually was one of the most amazing feeling i had ever felt afterwards once holding my newly born child in my bare hands.

Am I an addict to pregnancy? I'd like to think not but I do tend to like watching birthing videos on youtube (yes! birthing videos!) as they make me happy and are such beautiful moments.

Here is one of my favorite videos! WARNING! DO NOT WATCH IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH!

*REMOVED*

This is a natural process though and you may not want to go through this. Will you ever go through this or do you tend not to?

I'm male, so I'm not bothered about giving birth. But I am very, very worried about my partner giving birth, considering there's not much I can do to help...

Same as this as the OP! I don't think I could ever be with someone who defo doesn't want kids in the future but I'm really worried about whoever I marry actually doing it as it doesn't look like a pleasant experience to go through.
Shar; might be able to give us some interesting words NOT THAT SHE HAS GIVEN BIRTH OR ANYTHING JUST HER PROFESSION GUYS!

I was under the impression that pretty much every woman craps herself during birth, just most women don't notice it, as they have other priorities...

I think you're given something make all your poop come out before you give birth normally, so it's probably less people now that do it.

Personally, I dunno how I feel. I can imagine it's extremely extremely painful, but then after you have the baby I assume you just forget everything about the pain (unless you need stitches...) and just have a little snooze for a bit. The waiting is what would annoy me, especially on the first baby because it'd just take so long. I also don't really do well with pain and I'm a big moan bag.

So, if you accidently get pregnant, you will get an abortion?

Wouldn't even get preggers ~virgin4lyf~

Nah seriously, I don't really support abortion if the reason is just because you don't want it. (Obviously I agree with abortion if it puts you/the baby in harm or whatever etcetc). I'd probably go through with it but go through adoption.

Ah, that's good then. Unless you need to have an abortion due to some risk of you or the baby, I class abortion as murder. :)

Well it's totally the woman's choice and shouldn't be judged, nobody has the right to. Saying that I'm totally against the timeframe of abortions, I'm pretty sure it's upto 24 weeks and seeing as I was actually born at 24 weeks I find that a little disgusting as it is actually a human at that point. I don't see it classed as murder in the very early stages though, it's technically a ball of cells in the very early stages but anyways this is opening a whole new can of worms BUT JUST saying, nobody should be judged for choosing to have an abortion. There are many different factors involved and it's not just black and white.

Phil you weren't supposed to tell anyone about my baby :'(

Women are biologically made to be giving birth. Its totally normal to be afraid of it, I totally admire the absolute minority that aren't scared. But we have to remember that it is totally normal and we can't have 100% control over everything in labour. I think that's where things go wrong. Especially now in the 21st century where there are a lot more women actually working and becoming the breadwinners control is something we really want but it just isn't possible. With labour you need to go with the flow.
When you give birth you are not at all sick, you're completely healthy and its such a WOAH experience but it is normal for women.
Also, we're so lucky in this country, sometimes we even forget it ourselves but we have access to so many different types of pain relief and we have midwifery led and obstetric led teams their for support and to help and step in when need.

@buttons (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=42203) people tear but they get stitches and your hips won't break!
Women also do open their bowels but that's because of the muscles you use when you push.

@Chris (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=55895) watching a women giving birth isn't inappropriate content, leave the link at least!!

I'm not judging. I'll repost what I said to someone else:
You misunderstood me. Of course it's absolutely up to her, what I meant by saying 'ah that's good then' is because I believe that she's doing a good thing. But if she did decide the opposite, I would not judge someone for it -- but it wouldn't stop me thinking that it shouldn't have happened.

I would not mean to offend anyone who decides to get an abortion, for whatever reason. I'm sure they have their reasons. :)

I do disagree with you saying it's not murder. Perhaps murder is too much of a serious word to give it though. Even if it's just cells - those cells one day would become a human, living a life on earth. But it can't continue due to the abortion, making it never being able to exist.
