Absolutely. Even people who say no usually end up loving their own children. That's life:¬:

Asking this on a teenage forum will, most of the time, end in a majority 'no' answers. I used to be adamant I didn't, but when I was faced with the real possibility of being unable to have children (thankfully it was something else) I realised I didn't want the choice taken away from me. Even if I don't have children, I want the choice.

I'm still not decided whether I do or not, I'm not decided whether I want to have biological children or adopt/foster, although lately, probably due to the fact I'm in a stable relationship, I have been feeling a bit maternal - that is, that I feel I do want to have children in the future though. In all honesty it'd probably depend on my career, though...

Yes, because I want a part of me to keep going. At the end of the day though, I won't cry if I never have any.

Absolutely not biologically as I hate little kids and babies (and might end up with a guy not a woman anyway no idea what I would rather live with for my life though).

I not sure whether or not I would adopt once they've grown up a bit or not though, though I think i'd rather just be living free in all honesty so probably still not.

Did you know the average age these days to be having children has become late 30s. Most of these women wait until they have an established career before they even think about having any children.

yeah that's fine and everything but the field and career i'll be going into 30-45 is a crucial age for advancement, or the time I plan to have the money for a PhD and start a new career as a university lecturer, not really ideal times to be having children.

If I do it'll probably be sooner rather than later. Or adopting/fostering an older child...

The only worry is that you can get really badly behaved children because of their past, and sometimes it'll be children with something wrong, which is why the parents felt like they couldn't cope, and I'm not sure how I would cope with that :/

I think even if you had your own kids they'd have the potential to turn out really badly behaved too. It's all about the way you handle that kind of situation because you just would never know how something will turn out until you face it.

yeah but if they did then it'd be your fault, bad parenting (most of the time) - some times adopted kids would have been treated so badly in the past and all they know is violence, for example.

I don't disagree with you. There's pros and cons to everything I suppose.

Of course, when I get a stable life. Maybe 2, girl and boy.
Normally teenagers will say 'no', but in future this answer will change.

Yeah but only if I have a stable relationship and job. And I also want to have lived life before I have kids.

I see kids as a waste of money. ;l Although I could see myself have some when I'm older.

I do want kids but not straight away. Once I'm married, in a nice relationship, finished studying, enjoyed being an adult with no kids for a bit then yeah definitely.

Wow so many people wanting kids! GUYS IT'S 2 YEARS OF CUTENESS AND 16 YEARS OF PROBLEMS! I don't want kids, if I ever had any, I'd adopt, don't want to get all fat and flaccid and ripped apart.
