Well...
I'm male, straight, and like tights.
Then I read about brosiery and mantyhose.
So, all girls out there: Do you think it's right for a man to wear tights?

It's not "of the norm", but I think everyone is entitled to whatever they so please. I would definitely look twice if I saw a male in tights in the street, but it's entirely their decision aha :P

Suppose it is up to the individual. I know I wouldn't judge you, but would society? More than likely. :(

Tbh if I saw someone wearing tights I would think they are probably a little weird? But it wouldn't put me off someone at all I just don't think it's the norm really but weird people are a good thing :)

I think naturally you'll get weird looks as tights have been made into womens clothes
But to be honest, I couldn't really care less what they wore!! If they didn't match their outfit, obviously I'll be like lolwhat, but it's their choice and who am I to say what they can or can't wear

Doesn't bother me...
for dance I have to wear tights or leggings or something lol.... i cant remember the name

people should be able to wear what they want
and it shouldn't be mis-gendered
like 'mantyhose' and 'mankini' and 'boyfriend-fit'
why can't people just wear what they want
wrong unless they're transgender or s/t. i saw some meggings (men's leggings..) on asos a few weeks ago nd nearly puked

No problem with it but for... anatomical reasons... it's best to have the top part covered with a skirt or shorts unless they've been specially made with a thicker crotch part. Huge amounts of mooseknuckle with normal tights and leggings otherwise

idc if men wear them but because u asked for girls opinion id prob be turned off coz don't think they'd look particularly attractive on men. what is it u like bout them, the comfort/designs etc?
if they're comfortable then sure let them wear whatever the **** they like lol
like jen i probably wouldn't find it attractive but that shouldnt matter

Well, depends what for.
But as normal everyday clothes rather than sport etc? I wouldn't want to be seen walking next to someone wearing them. :P

because I don't think boys should be wearing tight clothing because it is unnecessary, unless there doing a certain activity that needs them, such as some dance classes

Playing Habbo is 'unnecessary', doesn't mean it's wrong lol.
Do you think girls that wear clothes which were originally designed for males are wrong? :)

Playing Habbo is indeed unnecessary, yet this does not mean that all unnecessary things should occur. Many girls wear guy clothing, usually male clothing is larger and more baggy and therefore an easy fit. But something such as tights is a specific type of clothing. Designed to assist in certain activities, not simply for everyday clothing. Everyone has their opinion. Why argue about what is right and wrong? When everything everywhere is consider right and wrong at the same time. :)

I'm just trying to show to you that wearing tights isn't wrong... and don't like people wear tights for fashion too (well used too)?

Wearing tights for fashion is another thing that I think is okay. I'm saying that guys wearing tights as normal everyday cloths is wrong in my opinion.

But why is it?
You think for fashion and sports its okay, but not for normal day use... what else besides fashion and sports would you use it for lol?

I wouldn't use them for anything besides fashion and sports, because I see them as disturbing on guys.

Females often wear tight clothing in general to show off themselves to others.

You asked me what girls would wear them for besides fashion and sports. So I told you, so yes, obviously that wouldn't be fashion. I didn't even say it's okay for anyone to wear them, I simply stated why females wear them besides for fashion and sports.

where on earth has that come from, skinny tight clothing is very popular amongst the skinnier guys tbh. I wouldnt say male clothing is more baggy at all on average really, big difference between wearing tights and skinny/skin-tight clothing tbh??

Indeed skinny clothing is popular among the skinnier guys. Although the main topic I was referring to was tights, not just any skinny clothes. I know some guys that wear skinny jeans, but not guys that wear tights unless they are taking a dance class.

the whole last 2 pages seemed to be specifically on "tight clothing" though, you referred to that enough times lmfao.

Well the person I was talking to before was using the wording as tight clothing instead of saying tights. So I did the same, sorry for the confusion.
For a musical I was in I had to wear orange tights and they are so uncomfortable!! In saying that, they don't crush anything, they're just not nice. Wouldn't wear them PERSONALLY for any other reason but hey ho each to their own. Such a relief taking them off I must say :P

I don't have a problem with it because I do wear some pretty tight jeans every so often, never tights though. Each to their own but I wouldn't really care. I would probably look twice if a guy was wearing like a girly skirt or dress or something.

Wow. So many comments... 0-0
But, yeah. Like Skandair, I use them for dance. Tap to be exact. And, well, I've become used to them in winter, which is when I was doing a tap exam.
So yeah, it seems like Habbox is kinda split down the middle. We've got the sympathisers, the disagreers, and the downright jerks.

Like Intersocial; said, I would probably look twice if a guy was wearing them but wouldn't really care, it's doesn't bother me what other people wear.
