It's kick-off time for Habbo Confederation Cup activities. Over the next couple of weeks 16 teams around the hotel will battle it out for a chance to win prestigious Habbo Confederation Cup badges and cups. There will also be a cool new badge in it for those who vote for the correct Habbo Confederation Cup winner. And let's not forget our Habbo Fantasy Team Recruit competition, where you get to dress in your most convincing outfit and tell us why we should sign you to our distinguished team.

Lots more information to come, but for right now, let's get started on those teams. If you are sure you are going to be around for the next two weeks and want to enter the Confederation cup competition, find three or four more friends and head to the Habbo City Training Ground room to submit your team in the poll.

Your team name must be a country. It doesn't need to be the country you're from. Feel free to adopt any country for your team submission. Our system will randomly select 16 teams - we'll let you know which ones by Wednesday, 31st of July - in time for the first matches to be played on Friday, 2nd of August.
A few ground rules:

- Teams must have 4- 5 members. 4 players will be playing at any one time, one will serve as subsitute.
- Teams must have country names
- Teams need to stay intact over the entire time of the competition. If you show up to a match with one missing player or a player who wasn't originally on your team, this means you have forfeited the game.
- We'll let the system choose teams, however, they need to be unique (e.g. no more than one team for the country Spain), both teams and players (no clones in other teams).
The poll must close on Tuesday, 30th July, at 8pm BST, so get in there while you can.

Well this looks fun I guess. Anyone want to enter a team with me?

I hardly doubt playing virtual 'habbo' football will be hard to learn.

People saying it will be stupid and boring but when you're actually playing it gets competitive and fun. I'll probably be the first one out but hey, I actually tried and had fun which is what it's all about :D
