Fandoms!

A Fandom is basically a lot of fans who are fan of stuff and are pretty crazy about it, and can be found all around the place a lot on tumblr though! with many popular fandoms such as Doctor Who, True Blood, Harry Potter ect..

What Fandoms would you say you are apart of?

For me, It's probably Doctor Who/Sherlock...

I am in the following fandoms:

Sherlock, Wrestling (pro; not amateur, collegiate or olympic), Boxing, Continuum, Detectivism, Meitantei Conan, I'm surprisingly in the Shonen anime fandom haha, Dr.Who, Elementary, Megadeth, Adventure time and sci-fi that stands out with a great story. The X-Files fandom is probably the most prominent in me but the show ended 12 years ago.

Many YouTube fandoms haha, but also a Gleek, a Heartbeat (Jessie J), whatever the one for RWBY is called and I would like to say Dr. Who because I started watching in 2005, but I kinda stopped watching at second episode Matt Smith was in. Although I do plan to watch the rest eventually.

I honestly don't like the idea of fandoms mainly because of the cringey photos on their facebook pages. I enjoy the hunger games books but I enjoy them for different reasons than other people might do. I enjoy Sherlock but I wouldn't be like "omg, im gunna go online n post bout it", because that's not what I watch a program to do. And I also feel like people who are in a fandom are obsessive so if I was like "I don't really like the story of the harry potter films" then all the fans would be like "Omg, avada kedavra!" I used to really like the twilight saga but after a while I was like "it's pretty ****", fandoms don't allow people to do that, I don't think.

Of course, I'm speaking in general terms.

In terms of pop culture rather than current affairs and serious business, probably One Direction/Tom Daley/Harry Potter series. :P
