I follow a few blogs lately that have started up this blogging trend of 'Mundane Midweek' where they take a day in the middle of the week that wasn't all that interesting and described it in an entertaining way. For example here's an extract of my one of my favourite bloggers go at the trend:

I woke up surprisingly earlier than normal for a Monday which can only mean one thing, CANDY CRUSH TIME. I threw some clothes on that were closest to me, (no, literally), stuck some contact lenses in my eyes, dry shampooed my hair 'cuz cba with that whole washing your hair thing and smothered some make up on my face and tried yet again to make my eyeliner flicks the same. Fail. Afterwards, like every morning, I had my Mum shout 'ELLIE WHY DO YOU ALWAYS LEAVE ALL THE LIGHTS ON? YOU OWE ME 10P' and 'ELLIE WHY HAVE YOU LEFT YOUR MAKE UP BAG IN THE SINK AGAIN?' Sorry Mum, never again, Mum.

Are you catching my drift? Basically I want you to take a ordinary day of your choosing and write a few sentences describing it in a funny and entertaining way. I guess you could stretch the truth if you really had to, we wouldn't know any different.

I'd demand my mum to spend her a few minutes of the day to buy me a mcdonalds breakfast. I just wanted those burgers with pancakes. Weirdest combination but it is so good. I'd drag some clothes from my floordrobe(just a pile of all my wreckless worn clothes) I can't be bothered with the whole taking my washing down everday. I'm a teenager. sometimes it takes too much effort to ever strain whilst on the toilet. It's a hard life, being young and blogging all day. It's as much work as an executive lawyer or what have you.

My alarm on my phone woke me up in the early hours of 12th July. It was Friday Morning. It was approximately 4:17am. It was time. I skillfully hopped over my sister, and stepped off the king sized bed. (I share a bed with my sister :P) I put a fist up in victory. I quietly opened my bedroom door, flinching at a slight creek. I used the light from my mobile phone to navigate my way down the stairs. Oh gosh I was so near. I opened the door to the kitchen and moved to the secret storage place behind the fridge. I opened it up, and... there were my glorious zebra cakes! "Kaylah..." I turned around and there was my sister.. looking vengeful; because I had my filthy family food thief fingers on the tasty treats. If I can't have it.. no one can. I charged past my sister with the zebra cakes; the 300 (Sparta) theme song playing in my head. "THIS IS SPARTAAA!" I yelled, before throwing all off the zebra cakes into the bin, where I had previously dumped rotten beetroot and spinach.

Don't mess with my Zebra cakes ******es.

Blue team!

I awoke to the buzzing of my alarm clock. My fist smashed down onto the snooze button. A shriek filled the air, and a tonne of bricks fell on top of me, pounding my arms, legs, chest and face. I opened my eyes. I had actually punched my friend in the face.
