Think my iPod of many years has finally died on me, spilt water and it's acting up ... have to see if it recovers. But that brought me on to an idea for a thread - what model and what colour is your iPod? mine's one of those thin metallic ones that came out before the ones with the cameras on the back did... and it's purple. For the past couple years I have never been able to comprehend fully why someone would still purchase the earlier gen iPods.
iPods in general are kinda useless, seeing as most phones can hold large amounts of music.
The iPod touch's can be used as a phone though. Which is why they are the only ones I would ever purchase.

I now have a Black iPod Touch 4th Gen and I love it :') Kinda wish I had an iPhone though. Not because I wanna follow the crowd or whatever but it's some effort carrying my phone AND my iPod everywhere I go

I have a 4th Gen Nano in blue which has lasted me for yeeears, and only once have I thought that it was close to dying (it recovered).

Now I have a 4th Gen Touch in white.

I had a Sony Walkman MP3 player until I was about 14, when I inherited my sister's 3rd gen nano (silver) which I had until last year.

I really liked the size of it so I got the same one, but in pink, and I still have it! When I'm walking to Uni or something though, I usually just use my iPhone.

i had an iPod touch and got 2 replacements within 2 years lol im notorious for breaking things, all because of spilling tea!! don't have one now as the third one broke which is a shame rly cause it was the only thing that's make me get off my arse n exercise

I had the first and second generation iPod nano, had a iPod shuffle (I think the first one) which my mum uses now and then got the 2nd generation iPod touch, which I haven't used in ages. Considering on getting the new iPod touch or iPad..

I not sure if i still have my like tiny white one from a long time ago but I think I sold it a few months ago cause I hadn't used it in years. Atm I got an i phone 4 a few days ago though so that's basically my iPod now ;p

Ahaa I have this exact one too. It has a HUGE dent in it where the charger port it, it only just slots in. But about 4 days ago in France, it started acting up by saying music was playing when it wasn't, saying it's on lock when it's not etc so it gets hard to use sometimes ;/

Then I got an ipod touch 3rd gen (which I still have and apart from the sound being a little dodgy when played through the speaker it works perfectly)

Then I got an ipad first gen

and now I've got an ipad 2nd gen :D

I've never actually owned an iPod. I only ever used MP3 players (lol) and my phone (currently an iPhone).
