MediaWiki Infoboxes

Hey.
Does anyone know a guide on how to add infoboxes to a new mediawiki?
I've looked around the internet and each guide I tried didn't work.

Any help?

Infoboxes are not part of standard mediawiki, you need to install the requisite mediawiki plugins, then export the infobox templates from wikipedia and finally import them on your own wiki.

Edit: Just realised you won't be able to export the wikimedia infoboxes anymore as they've already ported most of their templates over to LUA, you'll have to look for a wiki still using the parser function infoboxes.
