MAXIMUM LOGINS MESSAGE

Help! I tried to log in today and it had be doing some security message where you type what you see. And after awhile it said "Maximum Login Attempts. Please Try Again Later. It's been several hours. Still the same thing comes up. I've changed the password so I know it's correct now. But it won't even accept it. PLEASE HELP!
