1D's Zayn engaged to Perrie

One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards have got engaged.

Speculation surrounding the union stemmed from the boyband's This Is Us world premiere last night (August 20), when Perrie was spotted wearing a ring.

Confirming the engagement, the Little Mix star's mother Deborah told Real Radio: "Yes, it's true. They got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely.

"It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It's just perfect and they get on so well together."

She added: "It's just fabulous."

Malik and Perrie have been dating since early 2012 following Little Mix's win on The X Factor during the 2011 series.

You wouldn't understand ;) You think certain pop stars are demi-gods, like a certain someone who enjoys spitting and gobbing at his fans while high as a kite, or another instance where he broke the law like that time he drove into someone, or when he had a bratty fit in front of the media and demanded they remove a picture of him with a photoshopped nappy on because that's how much of a brat he is ;)

But I guess we shouldn't mock the mentally ill, he is just some poorly brought up child who is the puppet of his label who has such a weak mind that with each year he is becoming increasing corrupted, until he inevitably ODs and ends it all, or messes with real gangsters who do not serenade their grandmothers while completely naked, because that's normal :rolleyes:
