Yes.
I'd say I'm more patriotic about being Scottish than British, however during the Olympics I was very much proud to be British.
yeah during the Olympics i was quite proud to be british but at other times it doesn't really cross my mind lol

Usually am until days like Australia Day where everyone gets blind drunk and there are racial riots everywhere. Then I am reminded how much I actually hate this place.

Absolutely, no other nation in world history has given as much to the world than Britain has - I would argue we even surpassed the Roman Empire in terms of influence and importance in the grand scheme of things. That said, how the mighty have fallen in the past century.
But i'm quite patriotic yeah - I fly a 5 by 3 Union Flag from a 20ft pole in the back garden, have the flag in my room too ... and I know broadly some of the versus from Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and God Save the Queen. British overall - with a slight tinge of Englishness thrown in.
They don't call us great for nothing.

What
ANYWAY I'm not particularly patriotic but I thought I'd share this video of Britain's police force proving that they are human, as is important in an age where people seem to distrust all authority for no apparent reason

Nope, a shame but I don't think we are very proud of Britain.
Unlike other countries who are very pro their countries (USA, India, Namibia, Kenya) etc

I don't know, I think everyone is secretly patriotic they just don't shout about it because, well, we're British. We need a bit of order around here.

Aha :L I don't really feel much pride about my British blood, I consider us a lazy nation in general.

I'm referring to Marketing in how before he's pretty much stated that he would throw away this country's 1,000 years of national sovereignty and independence for paltry potential economic benefits (not that there are any) in a hypothetical federal Europe or US of E.
And cool, i've been there too a few years back with the school for WW1 module - did you tour the battlefields of Belgium and France? Menin Gate etc? very sobering standing on those fields amongst the graves of people who died for their country at our age isn't it.

Thought you might have been haha
And yeah, that exact trip. I saw a grave with my initials aged two years younger than me and I'm not sure how to describe the feeling, but I think humbling is a good place to start. I know this is off topic but it was crazy how they held a ceremony at the Menin Gate everyday for those who gave their lives, can't comprehend what the effects were on the surrounding communities.

Not really :L During big events I am, like the Olympics, but if I got into an argument about another place being better than England/Britain then I wouldn't argue back cause generally it's pretty **** :L

Whilst it may upset you to know, I have previously said I would be open to a Federal Europe IF, and only IF, the arguments for it were seriously impressive and realistic. On the contrary, I would hate to see Britain's history literally wiped away. Although, there are also many moments in our history that I think are quite simply embarrassing (although other nations have very simply backgrounds).

Would love to live in Silicon Valley for a start, although there are other places I would gladly live in if the career opportunities existed for me. I love the culture in Spain, although the current situation is not great at all (having said that, it took me 8 months to find a part time job over here). Ultimately, I will end up living where I can get the best paid job possible, and also be happy.
