We've known for a while now that it's been coming to the market. But if you had the choice would you get it?

I think that if it gets more designs then I would like to give it a try. I might be a bit worried in being one of the pioneers to use it in public though.

Will want to invest in it as soon as I can afford it!

As long as it will be compatible in the UK with the suspended services and stuff.

I like the concept, although do agree with some that it could cause issues at times. However I'm not sure if I'd want to wear it in public. Apparently there are plans to eventually get the same technology into a contact lense which would be a lot better and unnoticeable although some might worry about the connotations, there's already people unhappy about the ability to record people in public with the glasses.

Oh and it's too expensive for me right now ha

That was for the developers kit over a year ago. It's more likely to be about £200-300

Plus they look hideous maybe if they somehow made them into contact lenses mmmmmm

The people who would get the most use out of them are people who don't leave the house anyway so what's the point

I love the emerging trends in wearable technology, and I'm interested in the use and developments of google glass.

My only problem is simply how easy of it being stollen, like you're simply walking down the street and someone could come past on a bike and simply snap it off your face.

I'm rather interested in smartwatches as they seem cool.

I love how everyone's saying things like "no why would I, I already have a phone that can do that" - wasnt it the same when tablets were being introduced and everyone said, what's the point - i have a laptop?

But yeah, I think that I wouldn't initially, but once it becomes a regular thing (which I do think it will be) then I will probably catch on, and by that point the tech will be better and there will be more options of which one to get.

You do realise that google glass is more than just a portable search engine, right?

And to everyone saying that it can be stolen easily... I'm pretty sure more smartphones get stolen each year than glasses :P

Personally, I wouldn't get one just yet, but I find the whole idea of it very interesting :) I still haven't got a tablet though, so I'm a tad behind :P

Then why aren't people getting their phones stolen all the time? I'm sure it's a lot easier to steal a phone out of someone's hand then glasses off of someone's face without damaging them.

Do you realise how much glasses cost? It would also probably be easier to steal because the wearer wouldn't be able to see the thief properly afterwards :P

Probably in time if it gets more trendy. I defo wouldn't consider being a pioneer though

If they did prescription lenses for it, and perhaps a better frame style then yeah I'd go for it.

People dont seem to, and thats the point :P . People who steal things tend to do it discreetly. I've heard of iphones being stolen from handbags when the owner wasnt looking. Never heard of one being taken from somebody's hand though. Same thing with google glass, you're more likely to get it stolen when its off your head.
