just reading about birth order (i'm a middle child so find it interesting)

and it says that a study of families with three or more children found the youngest and oldest sibling to be the favourite of the family.

for my dad i'm the least favourite i know that for sure
with my mum i'm not too certain, my sister isn't exactly the most likeable person but i think because she's older she has more of a connection with my mum, and would speak to her a lot more than i'd speak to her

although sometimes i think i'm the favourite for my mum

my mum talks and gets on with my brothers, younger and older much better sometimes i think but then there are moments that make me think that im the favorite even if we aren't as close/talk as much!!

I'm the oldest to my mum, 3rd oldest to my dad and I find my sister gets away with more. When I was younger I wouldn't think of drinking under age, going out for all hours, just things like that and frankly I wasn't even allowed. A week before my 18th birthday I think it was I was told not to drink at my boyfriend's mum's birthday. I didn't drink until I was 18/19, but my sister was allowed to start years earlier. They blame me having a boyfriend saying they don't want me to do something stupid, but I'm mature enough not to whereas my sister isn't. The only thing that's probably different in a good way is my parents know I'm the more mature one, so perhaps that's why they're harder on me, I don't know.

tbh i doubt my mum has a favourite but she treats the middle brother the best, he gets money, he gets off with anything, gets sympathy, shes nice to him even when he's horrible but he gives her loads of stress which is then pushed onto me cause he'd explode if she even raised her voice to him. & she knows i understand that and will forgive it. i know hes least fave tho, he is to everyone in the family n i have a huge family.

I feel like I'm the least favourite to my Mam 'cause when my siblings walk in the room she's all welcoming and such, but when it's me I'm lucky to get a hello. My Dad's always spoke to me most and stuff though and even my Mam's said a few times that I've always been his favourite lol. the rest of the family my sister is DEF fav. she actually talks, seems interested and is friendly with them whenever we see them at xmas or whenever. whereas im not at all they all just think im quiet and miserable but i dont even care and cant be bothered to make any effort to change that. yolo

i am the baby in the family and with my mum i'm pretty sure i'm the favourite. we get along the best out of the rest and are probably the closest, she likes to tell me i'm her best friend and things like that :P she was never close with my older sister and was quite the rebel and horrible to her a lot, i'm not too sure with my brother but probs not 'cus he used to be a bit of a prat to her and still can be. my dad doesn't give a crap about me so it's unlikely there. out of the rest of the family, i don't think any of them have a favourite really

I think if anything i am the least favourite haha, i think its because i am more honest now then what i used to be. I used to be so quiet whereas now i speak my mind if something has annoyed me i will come out and say it. My parents like to think they are right all the time which is stupid they can't always be right!

Another reason i know i'm least favourite is the fact that i am more independent recently than my brother and sister.

My Mum is most protective of me and my step-Dad listens to me more then my sisters. And my real Dad pretty much only talks to me, not my step-brother.

I was the favourite for 6yrs and 2months until my brother was born haha.
But no I swear he is the "golden child", I tell my parents this all the time and they go along with it because of how ridiculous it sounds.
So I still think he is.

Then when it comes to extended family. I probably was by my grandmother before she got sick. I was the first grandchild so I was spoilt by her, when it came to many things. Then on my dads side I don't think my nan and pop had a favourite they love us all, I'm the 2nd youngest of 10 grandchildren and then there is the 3 great-grand children. They love us pretty equally giving us gifts whenever we go up to visit them :)
