Pretty simple question, what are some of the things you are working on at the moment that are unrelated to work or school? whether it's wanting to lose weight, not visit the pub as much, learning a new language - what's a project you are working on at the moment and broadly enjoying/determined to finish?

I love gardening and it's pretty much one big project over many years - you get some things wrong and surprises happen along the way. But at the moment my prize 'projects' are training my two Parthenocissus Veitchii (commonly known as Boston Ivy) over the house on both part of the back and the front. My plants are only about 7ft to 9ft high at the moment after two years, but the finished result should look something like the photo below every autumn when the plants are bigger -

I'm working on an icon set and just some other cute little graphics

then designing the newspaper cos that's neither work nor school but my extra-curricular thingy

I'm currently attempting to be able to do everything with my left hand as good as my right. I can currently write neater with my left hand than my right, but I am still slower.
I don't know if you'd class that as a 'project' but yeah.

I'm also writing a book, 6,000 words out of 25k or so lol.

Is this something you're actually planning to send to someone, or just to do in your spare time?

The BBC has a writers room where people can send stuff for feedback (and if it's really good, they'll even go so far as nurture the writer and produce one of their shows, although this is very rare) so I'll send it to them but it's mostly just a hobby and cos I'll have the idea whirring round my head all the time if I don't write it.

Uhmmm...

Not really no ;/ I'm a very boring person with no life so I don't really have any aims/projects that I want to do or have done..

fs someone suggest me something to do LMFAO

edit- o actually, one of the things I'm trying to do is not eat as much junk food. I eat way too much of it and definitely need to cut back because v.soon i'll be starting to grow outwards even more quicker than I currently am.. *she types as she eats a bag of crisps* xD

My project involves becoming more interactive within society so pushing myself to do stuff I don't feel totally comfortable doing.. like recently I started volunteering in a charity shop.. I actually quite enjoy it.

Funnily enough I am learning a language, although now I feel mainstream cos you suggested it
But yeah I'm currently very slowly wading through learning to speak Japanese. Once I'm comfortable in speaking and listening, I can move to learning to use the symbols for reading and writing.
J-Pop and Anime are helping me to pick up common phrases and podcast lessons help with the grammar and vocab

You? :)

They had this on the front of my old school. Had to cut the top part of it a few years ago because it got problematic for the building.

Turns varying shades of yellow to red during the year.

Beautiful school building. :) We had one growing on our four-storey bloc which is a hideous building so it didn't improve it much.

Yeah you have to keep away from the gutters/wood around top of the building which I am doing, on the back it's on the one-storey toilet/ultility room part so I can reach easily and on the front i'll let it get to the second floor and cut it back yearly on a ladder.

I'm jumping straight in at the deep end but at our college there are different teachers depending on what the EPQ is related to. E.g. sociology, religion/philosophy, science etc AND IM NOT EVEN SURE WHAT I WANT TO DO IT ON.

that's what put me against the bacc. I don't want to do general studies or critical thinking at all.

That building is a 13th century castle that was renovated to become the schools front/reception :P .

Well most are 1080p or 720p but i've got a couple standard definitions where there aren't any hd version available. I've also been collecting tv shows etc and have just upgraded from a 1tb external hard drive to a 4tb one although eventually i'm going to build a media server dedicated to it with a couple internal hdd's in.

Here's my film collection so far...

might contain swearing in film titles somewhere

That's insane. Have you watched all of them? If yes/no what's your top 3? :P

I guess my project is a book, but I'm failing at it because I keep changing ideas every other week haha

At the moment maxing out on RuneScape and training a competitive shiny team for Pokemon are two things I'm working on, woo games!

In real life I'm about to start a project on Statistical Modelling in Formula 1 for Uni, should be fun :)

There's probably 100 films or so that I haven't watched yet. Some of my favourites would be American Beauty, Goodfellas, The Departed and Trainspotting (in no particular order). Although American Beauty is probably my favourite, I would definitely recommend you watch it if you haven't already.

Ah, TV shows are next. What's your favourite series? I would have to go with Breaking Bad.

Tough choice, either Stargate SG-1 or Battlestar Galactica.

Been trying to do that for the last two years. Whenever I go on holidays and don't watch what I eat it all just falls off :(
