I started back at college this week and of course that means more opportunities to try and make friends in classes... hooray? However, I'm usually always struggling about how to start a conversation and incredibly worried about greeting someone in a stupid manner. Quite a few times I've come so close to saying something like "howdy partner" or "aloha" which is a ridiculously embarrassing thing to say to a stranger. One of my friends first managed to engage in a chat with someone by accidentally touching their crotch... not the best idea.

My question is, what do you think would be the most embarrassing way to first greet someone?

Good luck :).

Just three words that I (admittedly) use a LOT and always embarrass myself doing so...

"I'm not crazy."

Fart with nerves or sneeze because you have a cold and you have some unpleasant stuff hanging out your nose whilst you're shaking their hand and can't wipe it hahahaaha :))))))

Naked a covered in poo and you accidentally say "Heil" instead of hi and involuntarily do the Hitler salute.

Do what I did, found out someone was 3 years older then me at Uni being 21 and I blurted out "Wow, you're old". Needless to say it was embarrassing.

Inseriousity.

They tap you on the shoulder to say hi and your reflexes means you punch them in the face.
