School / college e-mails

Who here uses their school / college e-mails. What does your school / college / University use? Office 365? Also, how often do you check them and do you have them set up on your phone?

Our college uses Office Live 365
I check them mostly every other day
I have them set-up on my iPad

Yeah at college/sixth form, which I've finished now, we had to check our emails daily and it was the main way for them to contact us so yeah it was essential that we checked them all the time. Which my iPhone did for me anyway :P. I now have email for uni.

As in we haven't been given any or anything like that, so I assume the school doesn't have them :P

im guessing i could've done it with my college email but i didn't try but with my uni email I've set it up to work with my uni's exchange, allowing me to use it on my laptop/computers outlook to sync it for when im in uni :p

My old college email was pretty useless, just tend to be spammed with sports crap or the odd message mass sent to student with something like "I am gay" on it. The only use I got out of it was to store my work.

They used like a custom Gmail sort of thing.

I use my uni email, they use googlemail so just log in via browser, check them daily and have it set up on my phone :)

Lecturers email us pretty much after each lecture. Get Uni wide announcements etc on there weekly, get loads of employment options and advertising, for example I get emailed if Mercedes F1 have a seminar at our Uni or are hiring for post-grads :)

And of course it's the easiest way for me to contact my tutor, so yes, many many emails :P

nope, blocked for security reasons and im not important enough to be given a work blackberry :(

I do indeed. I couldn't do without it.. and I can access my emails at home. It's not uncommon for one of us having to connect up to our machines from home either :)

Uh god we have one for university, I don't even check my normal account let alone university - yet that's how they contact us. I hate al forms/information on computers, would much prefer letters. It's like job CVs etc - BRING BACK PRINTED OFF LETTERS!!!
