View Full Version : opinions on bi-sexuals
do they really exist?? or are they just bi-curious until they find out what they really like
do you believe people would actually have sex with say megan fox if they were a girl or say taylor launter if they were a guy because of their hotness??? cause you hear people say "i'd go gay for them" but do you think they are joking or serious?!?!!?!?

Probably the kinkiest girl i know is bi-sexual, and she doesn't seem to mind either way.
Also some guys can look very feminine. If Justin Bieber had long hair (especially when he was younger), a lot of straight guys would probably feel some sort of attraction to him.
I know that i'm straight. But every now and again i might see some guy that looks very girl like, with soft skin and medium to long hair. It can be very uncomfortable to be around people like that because i would feel a degree of attraction to them.

I believe undoubtedly that bisexuality exists in women. I also believe it exists in men, but I often find that "bisexual" men are attracted to men more than they are to women...
Eoin247; -- You seem bisexual. I am gay and have never had sexual feelings towards a woman. I find beautiful women beautiful, but nothing else comes from that. Masculine women are not sexually exciting for me; in fact, I find them less beautiful. Perhaps it's different as I am gay and you claim to be straight, but I know that all my straight friends wouldn't knowingly feel attracted to any guy (unless they were an exceptionally believable transsexual).
Yeah i don't think i have ever had an attraction a women, not matter how much of a guy they look like or how hot they are. GUESS YOU WILL HAVE TO TRY PENIS EOIN TO BE SURE

It exists but I don't think it's as common as it's made out to be. I think a fair few gay people use it as a way to compensate when they're coming to terms with their sexuality.

I have debated that with myself for a long time. But i'm attracted to a lot of girls, while i might only feel some attraction to a guy every now and then.
Also i went to an all boys boarding school. Boundaries get dropped there and i never really felt attracted to any of the guys there except for once a few years back.

lol it nearly happened during the summer. I was in Spain and we became friends with this group of norweigens. One night we decided to just have a banter night rather than clubbing so we just took it easy and chatted to randomers in the square. I got really drunk and one of the norweigens clearly had more of an interest than just talking with me. My Irish friend saw what was happening though and brought me to another group. I don't think i was even attracted to him though. My sister's friend really fancied him, so he must have been good looking. So idk what that means.
yeah it does exist but some people use it for a cover up and maybe say they're bisexual before admitting they're attracted to the same gender. you could say that occurs whether you're straight or gay though, i don't really think anyone should label themselves if they don't want to and they should just go with the flow and be attracted to whoever they find attractive and would be comfortable being with if they got into a relationship

Erm i don't call myself bisexual cause i just fancy whoever I fancy, apparently there's a different name to that rather than bisexual tho, I just say bisexual to uncomplicate things but yh im sure it does exist, the word is just overused for a straight girl thinking a girl is hot WHAT GIRL DOESN'T FANCY OTHER GIRLS THO

There are people out there who are. However, it does seem that they often have a preference with one sex over the other.

It exists, but there's far fewer then people claim. I knew many people that claimed to be bisexual, but I honestly think they were saying it just because they could. They would say other people of the same gender looked hot, but I could say that and I'm striaght. All these people that said they were bisexual, I've never actually seen be in a relationship with the same gender.
Like what Chris said, I believe that people can be bi-sexual and I hate this whole 'their greedy' attitude. I think the people who say this are really just jealous because they secretly want their bit from another member of their sex.
People seem to be posting their own sexual preferences is this thread and although it may be hard to believe, I would consider myself straight. In saying that, I wouldn't hesitate in saying that a guy was attractive. Like if someone asked me if a guy was hot and they were I'd be like "HELL YEAH" but personally, I don't think I could ever date a guy

People often say it doesn't exist because people usually settle down with one or the other; and society would then change their definition of that person to either 'gay' or 'straight' even though the person may still identify as bisexual.
The thing is, even if people don't think it exists, it's a subjective thing and if someone thinks they are attracted to both sexes and wants to put a label on it then let them! It doesn't affect anyone else.
I'd consider myself bisexual although most of the people I know wouldn't believe me if I said because I've never had a long-term relationship with another female and I've had a steady stream of boyfriends (that sounds bad but you know what I mean). Thing is, like a lot of other bisexuals I know, are attracted in different ways - I'm attracted to females physically and sexually, and males romantically and intellectually. So I tend to look for female... encounters and male relationships.
I also agree that a lot of people use 'bisexual' as a term before they discover what they really are, especially in men, because if a young boy was to suddenly come out as gay I think a lot of people would be shocked, and it's natural to progressively divert from the social 'norm' - once again a horrible way of putting it but I hope you understand!
The other annoying thing is when some people (more girls in this instance) use bisexuality as a 'hotness enhancer', kissing their girl mates in clubs for drinks, on tumblr like omfg i'm so bisexual look how hot i am, when it's pretty clear on further inspection they have no strong feelings for women whatsoever. That just devalues the whole thing and makes society hate on the word and the people that identify as it, which isn't fair.
TL;DR
let people be what they want to be

I can also vouch for the bisexual before gay theory. I first came out to my ex-girlfriend and thought it would be too awkward to say I was completely gay and our entire relationship was a "lie". I did have feelings for her -- they just weren't sexual at all. Easier to just say I was bi.
Oh also, I can't stand the whole "pansexual" business. I think people are trying too hard to be morally correct by claiming love is love regardless of gender -- newsflash: that's called bisexuality. I'm glad you're a free spirit but you don't need a new name for it.

I think it does exists, one of my older best friends on this forum once told me all her exes and I was there thinking, wait you dated a girl? As I honestly didn't know her sexuality, she was in a long term relationship with her, but she has also had long term relationships with men too. However, I don't believe that she has just settled down with one gender, she may likewise with many others prefer one or feel more attracted to one than the other. That's not to class her as straight or lesbian as the feelings are there for both genders.
I do class myself as straight, but I believe I've been bi curious for a while, although I wouldn't know unless the encounter came about, I know I'd kiss a woman, but anything more than that then probably not due to various reasons. That's why I'm more inclined to say I'm straight.
Another thing is with me and my boyfriend, he can tell me a male or female is hot if they wish, I would tell him males are cute/hot whatever, but girls I'd say are pretty. I've noticed he doesn't usually use the term hot either he just admits they're great actors or whatever they are although it's nice to talk about that sort of stuff.
Overall, I believe it does exist and even though those who say they're bisexual may prefer one sex it doesn't mean they limit themselves to it.
I believe it exists yeah. The sexuality has a reputation which certain people turn into stereotypes which is fair enough. I can't say I really know what it's like, as I was one of the gays that said I was bi to lessen the blow on myself and my family.
I know a few bisexuals and they are so lovely and open minded, I've got to say though, the majority of bisexuals around the island youth gay scene are women.

I've had a few gay people say stuff to me. On the weekend a gay called me hot, but I think that cemented the fact that I'm 1000% straight. It made me feel so uncomfortable and awkward. It just doesn't happen for me. If a guy is good looking, straight or gay and someone asks me if I think they're good looking, I'll say but that doesn't make me gay/bi, it's just an opinion on their physical look.
