I can't say strongly enough you should buy this just for FTL, you manage a spaceship and look after your crew. You can name them after your friends which is what I do, and I get emotionally attached to them so when they die it's quite upsetting and I can't play again for some time. Yep.

Sounds like Sims in Space?

The mission is to get to the Rebel Mothership by travelling through several sectors, which both have random events such as fighting other vessels, having boarding parties come aboard to try take over your ship, as well as environmental problems like ion storms knocking out your shields/weapons/power, or solar flares setting parts of your ship on fire. It's actually a really strategic game which takes a lot of effort. You can unlock ships, and every ship has it's pros and cons. You can get different crew species as well, like some will repair systems at a doubled rate and others are good at fighting, some even work as power cells... It's a really great game for the price.

Got it for Fez and FTL since I've heard both are meant to be good. I was actually going to get FTL on Steam the other day but then this arrived which is mighty spiffing.

Not as great as the EA one for me. I'm not a huge fan of indie games but it's still great value for what you get.

Just to add to that https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly has 6 and a half hours left and looks to have more interesting games than the actual bundle IMO.
