In one of my biology classes a few days ago, a few people decided to start clicking the tops of their pens repeatedly out of habit (or due to sheer boredom). I didn't find it irritating whatsoever, but my biology teacher got so annoyed by it and flipped out at the students doing it due to how distracting it was. I empathised with her, because I have always found drumming of fingers on table in class to be so bloody annoying.

I want to know if there's any small habits other people do at work/in class that drives you through the roof (like the examples above)?

Good luck :).

My friend has a habit of building wall-climbing cars and they drive me through the roof.

I seem to notice those little annoying sounds when I'm irritated more so than when I'm not, and it makes me angrier. Aaah, the fury.

When someone has a cough and they CAN'T STOP and you're in an exam or something or the whole class is quiet and they just don't shut up and you're there like "OH MY GOD THERE IS A WATER BOTTLE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU WHICH YOU ACTUALLY OWN. CAN YOU NOT FIND THE INITIATIVE TO LEAN FORWARDS, PICK IT UP AND TAKE A DRINK FROM IT. YOU ARE DRIVING THE REST OF US INSANE WITH YOUR CONSTANT COUGHING WHY DON'T YOU JUST STOP THIS MADNESS.'

But then one day it's you and you're so embarrassed cos you can't stop and you know that everyone is hating you :'(
