IOS 7 [Released Tonight at 6pm BST]

The all new revamped iOS 7

For iPhone users in the UK, the release time will be 6 p.m. local time.

The site states: "iOS 7 introduces great new features like Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, and smarter multitasking. It also makes the things you do every day even easier, faster, and more enjoyable. And while many of the apps look different, the way you do things feels perfectly familiar. So from day one, you know how to use the world's most advanced mobile OS. In its most advanced form."

There will be two ways to download the iOS 7: either over-the-air through your iOS device in the Settings (Settings > General > Software Update.), or connect your device to the computer and use iTunes.

The iOS 7 will be completely revamped from Apple's original mobile operating system. The new mobile operating system will arrive before the release of the new iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, which are expected to hit the shelves on September 20. The update will be available to download for free for iPhone 4, 5, 5C, and 5S,, iPads, iPad mini, and iPod touch. Pre-orders for the iPhone 5C stared September 13 for customers who want a colorful budget iPhone –available in green, white, blue, pink and yellow.

Got in on my iPhone but still can't get it on my iPad - can't do it OTA on iPad like I did on my iPhone because I have no storage space, so iTunes it giving me error 9006 :(.

It seems a bit meh on my iPad.
Its a little too plain and boring. The grey on the background of the folders is a bit dull as appose to fresh.
Just my opinion. Not to shabby though.

Like a couple of others have said, I've had it since Beta 1. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you'll eventually get as used to it as iOS 6. :P

Not really, It's never been cool. It's got some good features and some awful ones. It's also never been exclusive if you searched hard enough.

I like some of the new ringtones/alert tones, e.g. popcorn for messages. Now that I've got used to iOS 7 (mostly), I wouldn't go back :P.

It's cool but it's still buggy. :( I know of a number of bugs reported to Apple that haven't even been acknowledged...

There was an update today I think for it and I also saw a news article claiming people are complaining about the new IOS causing sickness due to colours and the way apps open.

I will test it myself when I pick my 5S up on Monday!!

It seems to be taking cues from Windows Phone and Android. It certainly looks fresher but they've made it look a bit childish and (arguably) tacky at the same time. Not sure what to think :/

Yeah well there was people who called Windows XP a toy or a fisher price product and then look how that turned out. An operating system that got a very large % in the market place and is still being used today in a lot of places unfortunately.

Hmm, true. But, iOS6 (and previous versions) were all very stylish and mature seeming. Crisp lines and very uniformed, and that sold very well. Perhaps it's just change? I need to have a quick play around to be honest :)

Might also be the fact that from the very first version of iOS (before they even renamed it to that) until iOS 6 it always had a similar style and didn't have a major UI change until now. I've had iOS 7 since they announced the beta for it. At first I was a bit "Hmm okay, not sure what to think" of the whole bright design. But after a couple of days/weeks I got used to it more and more. There is still room for improvements and tweaks in terms of the design and also some of the default apps but it is a good update in my opinion.
