To be honest I probably won't get one for launch and If I do get one it will be a good few months afterwards. I'm only currently playing on the Xbox 360 for GTA V and most of the other time I play games on my PC. We shall see though!

That's exactly the same as me, don't see the rush in getting a new gen console, as you said I will probably wait a few months after release as well before buying a new console

Playstation 4.

The better option that has been solid from its announcement, unlike a certain Xbox 180.

Titanfall will come to PS4 within a couple years, and when Crapcom keep failing they will repackage Dead Rising 3 and release it for Ps4.
Apart from them, Xbox has nothing i want. I look forward to my Uncharted 4, Infamous Second Son and eventual Last of Us 2<3 and now that i bought a vita look forward to playing all those indie games.

Not to mention how good Playstation+ is

Put my order down for the Day One edition of the Xbox One quite a while ago. I have both of the current-gen consoles but I always seem to turn to my Xbox more than the PlayStation. If however the tides turn and the PS4 becomes the lead in the new generation then I will inevitably switch over.

After seeing both first hand I can tell you that is simply not the case, they look virtually identical, the only deciding factors are really down to usability, the controller, exclusives and whether you're already paying a subscription or not.

I'll be getting the Xbox One, while the PS4 controller is an improvement over the PS3 one, the Xbox One controller is still better overall, I prefer the exclusives, I pay for Xbox Live and PS+ already so that part doesn't really make a difference to me.

Also, Dead Rising 3 will never come to PS4.

I don't live in the US, I don't need the TV stuff because Xbox One has HDMI-In, and despite what you seem to believe, people aren't going to avoid a console because they had some poor judgement, they rectified it and it's also a better deal than the PS4.

Its only releasing early because Microsoft feel they need to win the EU Market, Same reason Ps4 is out a week before the 180 in the US, and why there's no rush in Japan.

xbox sux. Why? I mean sure, I might be getting a PS4, and I would argue that its better. But when it comes to storage, graphic capabilities, RAM storage, and everything else, it's extremely close. People should only choose between the consoles for which one all their friends are getting, if any. Making the statement "xbox sux" isn't a valid argument. Where is your reasoning? I'd say you're in a minority there. I certainly chose my console because of what my friends got, and they did the same.
If they came to me tomorrow and said "hey we're all getting PS4s now", I'd cancel my xbox pre-order and get a PS4 on order straight away!

Exactly I've made plenty of friends while playing games i like and via trophy sites. I don't see it as a big loss i was PS3 on my lonesome for a number of years until good number of my friends jumped back to PS for the exclusives.

Journey was another good game i played this year actually where you play with a stranger online unable to chat.

Same. I may consider it when the second generation PS4 comes out (or whatever they call the smaller, refined models which have ironed out the bugs).

I still disagree, If all my friends said they were jumping over to Wii U to play Mario Kart and Smash i wouldn't just follow the heard as much as i like MK/Smash i prefer games that come out on PS. So I'm not going to sacrifice my enjoyment just so i can play with a few of my friends. I'm just fortunate that barring 1 friend everyone is getting a Ps4.

Got my Xbox today. Dashboard is buttery smooth and voice commands are just insanely useful, but my favourite feature is being able to just suspend the game and do other things while it runs in the background. Being able to record a funny glitch (like this for example! (http://youtu.be/56tUu0ie4mY)), go into the DVR, edit it down and then resume the game is just great, especially as everything loads up almost instantly. For some reason I can't set my dashboard colour or my gamerpic, and connecting my laptop through the HDMI-In port appears to be fruitless atm, but other than those very minor hiccoughs I'm very happy with it. Of course, after I complete AC4 I don't actually have anything to play until Titanfall and Destiny come out.

Got my XB1 earlier. Love that you can go to dashboard with your game in the background.

Finding the party chat and invites pretty confusing but I'm sure that will just get easier the more I play.

Another thing I'm not a fan of is the new achievement system. Can take quite a while to view an achievement and pretty annoying when you have to snap out of the game. Preferred the 360 where you could view the achievement by clicking the xbox button and it would should the icon, name and desc instantly.

Yeah that achievement thing is kinda annoying, you can just Snap the achievement app but it was much easier beforehand. I wish you could just press the dashboard button for the description, but long press it if you want to actually go to the dashboard. You also don't get notifications and stuff for friends coming online, it's annoying because the dashboard as a whole is really great but the little irritating things they've removed or changed start adding up.

I honestly don't know what console I'd want to get. All I know is that the day I do get a console is when GTA VI is coming or another really good game. PS4 seems to be more about the gaming, whereas xbox one is about everything in one, which I don't care about. I might be wrong, but coming from a gaming perspective, the ps4 seems better. But I'm happy with my xBox360 at the moment lol

In that case you would only get 996 nuggets assuming you buy them all in boxes of 6 or 1,915 if you get the 20 nugget share boxes either way prob better off with Tesco and just deep fry them rather than oven cook

Mine arrived today at 2pm. Was a bit of a disaster because virgin media went down in my area just before it arrived which meant I couldn't do the day one update which was required to use it.

Really enjoying it so far though. The voice commands are super useful.
