You all have short memories. Habboween badges have been reused for years and years. It's easy to blame 'new Habbo' or 'new staff' when the harsh reality is this happened on old Habbo with the old staff. The hotel I came from all the classic Habboween badges have been used from around 2005-2010. Might have been 2006 actually. You get my point though.

I always like Habboween. I rarely care for their christmas/easter/any other holiday events but Habboween always seems somewhat fun.

I hope to see:
- Gruesome story competition
- Return of old effects
- Actual challenges for badges (5+ rooms of games)
- Staff hosted 'Zombie run' or similar
- Staff going into random rooms and saying trick or treat (as they did pre merge) with treat being any badge ever and trick being a kick from the room or a duck in a prezzie.

What I don't want to see:
- Badges only in polls
- Achievement/Quests where you have to click thousands of times

Well, technically those badges are destinated only for Habbo.NO, not for an international event. I don't think they will be given out on Habbo.COM.

Powertoo seems like is starting to recreate again that kind of competitions, although they are not the same as how they were in the past at all.

New images released suggests that a spooky chat bubble will be available over the duration of Habboween. It will accompany those that we already have to bring a fresh look to our chat.

The new bubble is purple in colour, similar to some of the others we already have on the Client. However, there is a significant difference with it having an icon, likewise with the pig, dog and pirate chat bubbles. The icon to emphasise the chat even more is in the shape of bats, a great idea for a Habboween chat bubble. With the images uploaded for this it begs questions as to whether more will be uploaded at a later date - with Halloween the possibilities are endless, they could even bring an orange one with a pumpkin icon on it!

Another effect?

Habboween is fast approaching and although there aren't many noticeable signs of a big campaign images regarding new effects have been found.

Currently, the two effects have followed a similar theme in the haunted and spooky genre. One of them establishes a horrifying, green head upon your Habbo avatar whereas the other is truly disgusting and encases your player's head in a boil-ridden face! At the moment, we are unsure when or if these effects will be available and of course if they would require you to purchase with Duckets or Credits; we will continue to keep you updated throughout the weeks leading up to Habboween.

Both of the new effects has the 'fx' code, standard for many of them available on the Client, so I doubt we will see wonderful things coming with these effects!

New habboween rooms by powertoo, for some badge. Sounds easy, looks easy. But powertoo and cowboystyles are lurking about and kicking everybody! So as well as trying to get the badge, avoid them! I don't think anyone has got the badge yet tho... Wonder what it looks like

I believe they was 'lurking about kicking everybody' because a lot of people got into the room when it was first copied over and wasn't locked :P They couldn't possibly be on all the time to go around kicking, they'd get bored after the first ten minutes!
