What phone? [rep]

Heyoo, so I've got about a week until my contract expires so I need to get a new phone as my iPhone 4S is a pile of poop.

I'm steering towards a HTC One, however the Samsung Galaxy S4 also catches my eye. Does anybody have any opinions on either phone? Anybody used both? Cannot make up my mind at all.

And before anybody says it, no I do not want a bloody iPhone again. I'll rep all suggestions, it aint much but hey ho

I've heard the S4 is good and the camera is amazing too. Don't really know anyone with the HTC One so don't know if it's any good.

I've just ordered the iPhone 5s so I think that's the one to go for ;)

I know a few people with the HTC One and they swear by it, the other problem with the Samsung to me is like the iPhone it is replaced every year where as it doesn't seem HTC currently do that.

I wouldn't get the HTC and as I currently have the S3 I am a little biased and will say get the S4.

if I was going to get a new phone I'd get the S4 or the nexus

the nexus is really good if you don't really want to spend a lot but want a good solid phone
if you're blowing any amount on a phone I'd go with the S4 over an iphone etc, mainly because of the freedom you have with changing the software, other than that there's not much else I can think of, a lot of it is just personal preferance, they're not much different capability wise so I'd probably suggest you go into a phone shop and play around with them

I've vowed not to buy another phone though until I've driven my 4S into the ground, it's still surviving

Let us know what you think of it after a week or so :) Personally I have always been an iPhone user though was tempted with the HTC, albeit briefly.

s4 is a good buy, and you might want to check Note 3 too. it's pretty amazing for me.
