I've just caught up with Season 5 of Glee (which, unfortunately, is only 3 episodes in so far) and I am truly shocked by the third episode.
I literally spent the entire time crying and sobbing and wiping my eyes and nose and hyperventilating into my box of tissues
Maybe I'm just weak or something >.>
Even if you don't like Glee, please just try out the third episode because it is so genuinely and truly sad.
It's maybe the worst thing that every time someone cried that someone real has died.
I cried from about 10 seconds in and for like 15 minutes after the episode. It was just heartbreaking :(

I don't watch glee, but I read that the majority of the episode was produced brilliantly, and Lea Michele's portrayal (if you can call it that really) made the episode what it was.

I watched The Quarterback last week. It was so sad but what really made me cry was right at the end when Mr. Schuster broke down omg I broke down too ;(
My worst bits was santana breaking down in her song, wil crying into the jacket, and burt and carole and kurt packing up finns room :( I am glad we didn't find out how he died, the episode was just perfect.

I've looked it up, and there is no actual cause of death given: Kurt also decides that it's not worth telling people how he died because how he lived is much more important
I think it was really effective how they didn't introduce Rachel in the episode till right near the end; like as a finale to his life being the person who loved him the most

Completely agree with all of this! Although, those were the worst parts, I first started crying when I realised they were singing Seasons of Love. That was first. It's from Rent. I love Rent. I recognised the first note.
I don't know if I can sit through that episode again lol

Also did you guys know that season 6 will be the last season :(!!

what? really? that's just sad, is there a certain reason why they're ending it in season 6?

I really liked Glee but I can understand why they're ending it at season 6. I only watched up to about season 2, can't remember why I lost interest but the times that I've watched newer episodes from season 4 it really doesn't interest me at all. Like in the episode before The Quaterback they had the rude cheerleader and to me she was just there as a Santana replacement, someone even called her Santana 2.0 I think later on ;P The blonde cheerleader girl in New Directions to me is just a Quinn 2.0 and really all of the new characters I keep on comparing and thinking 'yeah you're just replacing the old people'.
This is just my opinion from watching a few episodes of season 3 and 4 but it's kinda just the same thing. Even when it was a new show and I watched it all of the time I always thought about how it couldn't go for that long because while High School can be hectic the show would get old being set in the same place all of the time. To me it passed the 'this is the same thing again...' line when I started losing interest.
But hey probably one day I'll go back and watch all of it again, and I'm sure I'll watch the last few episodes of season 6 just to see how it all ended.

His death I am guessing. They already had the ending and last scene planned out but now it will honour finn :((

The new cast aren't as strong singers but I have grown to like them. Jacob Artist is amazing and my fave addition too!! It isn't really the same old thing either because you have a lot of it set in new york with the older cast to vary it up.

My personal opinion is that i really despise glee and cant stand it

I think they've realised these later seasons aren't nearly as popular or funny, with characters that are harder to connect with, and that's caused them to pack up and go before they see a serious dip in ratings and bad criticism; better to end a short run well than a long one badly I spose
Also, I don't see why the cast should be tied down to their roles as long as some of them have been. Some of the members are branching into new things and don't give priority to Glee, which leads to just meh storylines I think
By the sixth season, I suspect I will barely be interested anymore
I'm currently on my iPhone if you are seeing this message. Pretend like you care xx
